Dubs Football squad just announced for the clash v Rossies on Sunday:-

Comerford
Murch Doran Byrne
McGarry Howard Gavin
Kilkenny McMorrow
Breathnach Bugler Scully
Small Con O'Dell

subs:
O'Sullivan, McEneaney, McMahon, Kennedy, Tyrrell, Smith, POCB, McGinnis, Lundy, O'Callaghan, Quigley.

TBH I will be surprised if we line out with Con starting.
If he felt his hamstring in the last game, he should not be risked this weekend.

based on What they did v Mayo and Kerry - they wont do it.

Galway, Roscommon are playing very well - Dublin are playing terribly"
Well thats one win in the bag now.

Well well well..... wow.
You called it Brayballer.... fair play..!

Clearly that was the Best performance by the Dubs in this new Ger Brennan era.

A scoreline that no one predicted, a result that few fancied, and an amount of 2 pointers that must be a record for the Dubs in one game....

That first half was something else. 1-01 to 1-14 at Half Time.
2nd half was all about controlling the lead. FT 2-07 to 1-21

We finished with 9 different scorers and 5, yes FIVE, 2 point scores...
Luke top scored from play with 1-01.

A draw v Armagh in Croke Park might just be enough to keep us up....

Green shoots of progress - but lets follow it up now in the remaining 2 league games.....

Big win for our Hurlers today also.

To score 1-31 was very pleasing.

Hopefully we can keep it going now.
Scoring difference could be a major factor in our promotion attempt.....

Given themselves a decent chance of staying up, good performance on the road.
5 2pters is the story of the day
That's the magic number, you'll win plenty of games with that tally of 2pters

Had ye backed today…thanks for that. I couldn't see ye losing today considering ye needed the points.

If Clare beat Wexford - by no means a given then - two comfortable wins over Down and Carlow (always a tough enough encounter in Carlow) will see them promoted on points difference. You would think.

You would be warm favourites still Barney. But at the same time we have won on all 3 of our trips up to Ennis in the League this decade, so you never know......

It is nothing game for Clare. That's main worry.

Exactly Barney.
Clare could easily rotate the squad a little for this game.
Either way, I think it could be a cracking game between them two.

Agree we have more riding on the result than they do but I don't think Lohan does nothing games.
They will want momentum going into the Munster Championship, they didnt have it last year and suffered as a result. Im pretty sure they will be well up for the game.
At the same time I don't know whether its a weight of expectation thing, but they often play better away from Ennis. We have played them there 3 times this decade and won all 3, we have lost to them the last 3 times in Wexford Park, 3 times in Thurles and once in Portlaoise this decade at the same time.
We have played them more times the last decade at Senior than we have any of the Leinster counties believe it or not, which is mad too when you think about it.

Hard to predict what Lohan might do. It means nothing in terms of league so its how he uses it to prepare for April 16 against Waterford. Great chance for younger and more marginal panellists to stake a claim. Far more so than training and internal matches,

Our own fate has been in our own hands so no complaints whichever way it turns out. Might have to borrow nephew's lily white jersey if it comes down to it final day!

The Armagh game now a big one and they will throw the weapons at us.. I think we will beat Galway in last game as they will be safe then and will have nothing to play for.
If Armagh beat us then we might need Kerry to do us a favour v Armagh in their last game but if they lose to Mayo next week they will have nothing to play for either so probably play a weakened side.
If we beat Armagh we are safe but its not an easy one.Im confident of beating Galway so we will deffo have 6 points but it will all depend on other results.

I think a draw with Armagh might be enough tbh.

Hopefully Con and Cossie will be back.
