Replying To Black+Blue:  "6 players on the panel is some achievement by Breathnachs, they must be a serious team as I cant recall seing a club with so many involved.

Its good to see 16 different clubs represented but surprising to see some prominant senior clubs with no players of County standard.
You would think the likes of St. James, Moycullen, Mountbellew Moylough, St. Michaels and others would have at least 1 player at that level ? especially if they are competing in Minor A championship ?"
Claregalway had 7 involved the last year they won the minor All Ireland in 2022. All the same 6 from a club with a small population like MB is fantastic. Happened to catch MB play Dunmore McHales in Knockdoemore in the u16 Q final last year, only a kick of ball between them, they had 2 stand out players so surprised with the 6 included.

Replying To Eire89:  "Some going to have 6 on it for MB even Corofin in their hayday would be proud of 6 representatives on a Galway panel. When does it start?"
I think their first game is away to Leitrim on 20th March.

Replying To galwayman2:  "Breathnachs were in the division 1 national Feile final at u15 level two years ago.
The final was a draw after extra time so they shared the trophy.
Great to see a smaller rural club doing so well at that level."
They won county u15 that year as well they could go on to win minor this year would be big for a small club

How did they look? Were they competitive?

I know the hopes were high that the minors would have a Connacht title in them at least this year after winning the Ted Webb last year.
