Season Tickets

I see the season tickets are gone up to 140 euro. Does that mean the price of league games go up or championship games are going up. You don't get any tickets anymore for championship. It's gone mad

Unless your team gets to an All Ireland final, where you'll get to sit by yourself for the day.. season tickets are a bit pointless. Plus they're usually sold out anyway when it comes to the counties who do get to finals. Honestly don't get the point of them.

It was €140 for the Hurling last year too. €150 for the football.

They were great value originally and also included 1st Championship match plus other League games.
Unless your County are regular Finalists and you want to ensure a ticket they're not much use or value any more.

I didnt get any renewal for my Season Ticket. When did you get your renewal Email? As a poster said above there were great value in the past but not so anymore. There are 7 of us together so we all sit together at every match so that's a plus too

They are a waste of time - the least they could do it throw in the first round of the All IREland series

Totally agree. The only advantage is that they guarantee a seated ticket for matches.

They include the NHL games? I think they are decent value if you're dependent on a ticket for your child for example. If your county gets to a final where there is huge demand they are great. But admittedly that is just a few counties & other than the benefit of guaranteed tickets the system probably needs a re-think.

Soon! Would it naive to ask for the GAA and Ticketmaster to give a date, say December 1st. Could get a bit of publicity from it and market them as a great Christmas present?

does anyone know how I can be in a group with others this year - I am renewing from last year but I have a friend and family member that want to join up and we'd like to be seated together come championship, but the renewal is only allowing me select one ticket

To be seated together both of you need to select the match day tickets at the same time for each match after they become available ie on a match basis.

Those Counties with "Renewals only" obviously are at the maximum number allowed.

It's only renewals for Donegal this year. Demand must be high after us reaching the final. Great to see but, my God, what a difference a couple of years makes.

I think its renewals first. Then it will be opened to others?

Well i don't think so as some counties are available to the general public now and some aren't. I suppose there are people who won't renew and their tickets will be offered for sale at a later date. There's usually waiting list for the over subscribed counties I think.

Is it worth purchasing a season ticket if you don't make all of league games or what is the main reason why people buy season tickets? €150 seems like alot and not much saving unless you would attend every match?
