Replying To Freethinker:  "Next week will tell a lot. I think that if IRL had played NZ at the end of these games we might have a different result. In my opinion SA, France, England and probably / possibly NZ are ahead of Ireland at this point in time"
NZ beat us only a couple weeks ago. We have plenty of issues. Not just personnel in a key position or two, but failure to be able maintain a consistent level of performance for a whole game. We were goodish for the 1st 20 and last 15 odd minutes. We were switched off during the middle half hour or so.

It'll be dark when the final whistle blows in Budapest tonight. Let's make it a very dark night for the once Mighty Magyars.

I see they can't risk having a minutes silence either in soccer it has to be an applause because they can't trust the fans to show respect and stay quite.
It's says a lot for the GAA that opposing fans can sit side by side and we have the manners to observe a minutes silence when it's called for.
Anyway that said let's hope Ireland win this, Seamus Coleman what a man.

You think? We grow men the size of rugby backs in the GAA but the IRFU insist on importing them.

That was unbelievable!

Still a lot of work to do, but fair play to those lads. They've restored a lot of pride in the Irish shirt.

Roll on March!!

Super stuff. Serious heart! Fair play to all them and the management. The country needs uniting around something positive. Roll on March is right! Any chance that play off will be around March 17 :D

Sorry, but did you not read my post ? I said that if we had played NZ at the end of this series, we might have a different result. I think it was poor planning to take them on in the first game of the series. Many players had little or no game time since the Lions games. NZ had just finished their championship. They didn't look so hot against England yesterday.
