Just reading back through this for amusement to try and lessen the boredom of watching events in Clones. Soma (UK) - Posts: 2630 - 17/07/2016 15:27:52 1884699 Link 0 |

Yeah, I'm coming around to the thinking that something needs to be done to improve the entertainment factor.

Soma by no means was it a perfect game however it was tense and some of the scores particularly Cavanaghs and Hartes where worth the fee alone. Well done Tyrone they will take some stopping. The Ulster championship whilse not perfect is still away out in front. Watch the turkey shoot that will now follow in Croke Park thank god we have the Ulster Championship. sam1884 (UK) - Posts: 999 - 17/07/2016 15:50:43 1884717 Link 0 |

Got a text from a Meath mate while I was in Castlebar. He was watching the Ulster final on the box and the Connacht final online. Basically his neutral view was that the interchanging and transitional play from Galway particularly in the first half was in a different league to Clones albeit the latter was exciting for its closeness. Interesting when you get an unbiased view like this given all the criticsm Galway and Ros shipped last week. kiloughter (Galway) - Posts: 1993 - 17/07/2016 20:32:57 1884992 Link 0 |

Impossible to watch two game simultaneously and come up with an accurate analysis. Therefore I disregard his opinion 100%.....bias an all

In fairness the Ulster final was nearly over by the time Galway Ros started or as he told me himself was in the very latter stages. The way you disregarded that unbiased perspective smells of self denial. It was only an observation and not necessarily a criticism of Ulster football. The reason I mentioned this was the fact the thread seemed to gather strength from the alleged 'muck' as viewed in Salthill last wend.
