Aidan has to get banned. a joke today. Numerous times diving and it has basically knocked Feemanagh out of the championship. If the gaa have anything about them he will get a couple of games ban

Pretty disgraceful, something seriously amiss about a big silly lad like that having to do that to win a game.

The GAA are the cause of this behaviour. they are doing nothing about it, and shame on them.
If you let people away with it, theyll do it, simples.

Terrible thread

It wasn't a penalty,

There was a coming together and he went down as legs were tangled.
But it wasn't a dive!

On the other hand, why the gaa do not have video technology is an absolute disgrace.

But Aidan O'Shea gets rough treatment and never gets frees or penalties so he deserved his bit of luck.............. Is what Mayo fans will say.

It's ashame that , that penalty was awarded , fermanagh was a much better team throughout the game , I hope that mayo look back and feel like they got the east way out . Fermanagh will for definite be back next year to show that they can be a top team . Pete McGrath is one of the best managers I've seen .

I hope he's suitably embarrassed with himself for that but I doubt it. Hope they have their asses handed to them in the next round.

The gaa tried last year with tiernan McCann, and you can't ban a lad for a yellow card offence. Case closed.

Fermanagh will have every right to feel aggrieved at that today. They didn't deserve to lose like that.

O'Shea, not just today. He dives all game, every game and always in contact in the scoring zone. If he picks up the ball in his own half he bursts through contact. His dives are so obvious. Refs have to be aware of this. It's embarrassing. The size of him diving on the ground.

A win is a win but O'Shea should be ashamed of himself for the dive. His actions make a strong case for the use of video replays to sort out contentious decisions.

The penalty was a terrible decision and players should get bans for such behavior - nothing will change and the black card was no use here. P. McGrath is a great manager and its a pity we do not have someone like him.

Thank goodness it wasn't a Tyrone player making a dive like that. I await the cross country condemnation of Aidan O'Shea.

Why do i get the feeling that some of those criticizing O Shea today are the same ones probably defending the awful tiernan McCaan after his antics last year, whinging about an anti Ulster agenda or something of that kind?
No room for hypocrisy or tribalism when it comes to this issue.
Cheaters are scum and have no place in the GAA, whatever colors are on their jersey.

Absolute disgrace, fermanagh out because of O Shea`s dive and mcquillans ineptitude, then RTE soft soap it all, needless to say if it had been Tir Eoghain we would be hearing about replays, suspension, apologies

It wasn't just the penalty decision. O'Shea was awarded a few handy frees throughout the game. If you watch him closely he will launch himself between two players as they are drawing in to close him down. By the time he feels contact from an opposition player he is already on the way down. Even Carr called him up on it a few times.

I would be more aggrieved at the fact that O'Shea should not have been on the pitch.

The black card is a pure farce.

He should be banished to Rio for the month of August. Could even come home with a medal
