What a game, peivelage to be at it. The point which levelled it near the end of extra time was unreal. The footballers today should be shown that game on the team bus, real old school fighting spirit that Meath football used to be known for. bdbuddah (Meath) - Posts: 1413 - 26/06/2016 12:13:45 1872206 Link 1 |

Well done Meath on your victory on what sounded like an enthralling game. In the end it all worked out for you and credit to the guys who gave up their trips to America etc to allow you to field the same team. Unfortunately for ourselves 4 of our starting 15 from the first game were not available for Saturday so we didn't get to see how the two teams from the first day would have fared against each other for this one but thems the breaks I guess. :-) Offside_Rule (Antrim) - Posts: 4058 - 27/06/2016 10:15:12 1872611 Link 0 |
Well done Meath, hopefully a step up to bigger and better things similar to Kerry last year. bumpernut (Antrim) - Posts: 1852 - 27/06/2016 10:22:50 1872619 Link 0 |

Well done to both teams for serving up another thriller way above anything you'll see in the Euros. Some fight in those Meath hurlers!!! keeper7 (Longford) - Posts: 4088 - 27/06/2016 13:03:09 1872720 Link 0 |
