tearintothem that's 26 for a matchday squad. I'd say the number of a panel would be closer to 36.

Story from last year, doubt things have got any better since then. The question is how different are things this side of the Irish Sea?

Also, does anybody know if GAA players in Northern Ireland are tested by the Irish Sports Council or UKAD?

Its nonsense because its here say , unsubstantiated , that's the problem with opinion sites people can come on here state **** as fact and don't have to back it up , read over all the posts , where is the evidence ? of all the fellas on this site myself being one that are members of clubs who is saying that the have seen anything even remotely close to whats being spouted out here as fact ? I will answer that for you NO ONE .
Its all innuendo from fellas talking out of there end do , suspicions are not facts , so far the evidence to support doping is I know of a fella who knows a bloke who was related to a cousin that was a member of a gym . Pathetic effort at real discussion , and just a little disrespectfull.
Damothedub (Dublin) - Posts:3240 - 19/04/2016 10:59:02
What is disrespectful? Reading posts here isn't evidence. Ive seen it amongst guys playing GAA in my own club. They built a gym in last 3/4 years and there is guys taken stuff as other members have seen it happening. Ive seen guys in my rugby club take stuff... To say its all innuendo is so ridiculously naïve.

Ormois
I'm great man, thanks for asking!
If you think asking you for proof of your claim that I was giving out about you not using my full username is aggressive then I;m not sure you understand the meaning of the word!
I'm merely asking for you to back up what you said Ormy. Not to difficult a task especially as you made the claim a week ago I think.
Maybe you were mistaken? Mixed me up with someone else perhaps?
Dare I say that you should 'be a man' (whatever that means????)!
MesAmis (Dublin) - Posts:9515 - 19/04/2016 11:14:22
How immature are you getting? Call me Ormond and this ends. All the nonsense taking over threads is finished if you become a man and take up the responsibility of calling someone by their name and not an unfair and wrong name. Calling me something I find offensive is cowardly.

Hahaha here we go again! Never met anyone more precious about a bloody username for a sports forum! I must tell off those that call me Croi in future, how dare they shorten it!
CroiGorm (Dublin) - Posts:880 - 19/04/2016 11:53:30
I have no problem with my username being shortened its what its shortened to is what is the problem, how hard is that for people to grasp?

Why oh why do you think you should be treated different to everyone else on here Ormo? People call me Breff in the exact same manner that has you whining all the time yet it doesn't bother me in the slightest. This is the same for multitudes of posters over the years. It's up to you to change, not everybody else.

We're all anonymous equals on here, you're gonna have to learn to accept that.

Breffni39 +1 on that post. He says shortening his name is akin to name calling. I get called Croi all the time, i don't accuse people of calling me names! Never heard anything like it from what i assume to be a grown man?!

All posters are equal Breff but some are more equal than others. (Those from Clare, or is it Tipperary?)

If you look at virtually all other forums you would see that I am correct. You don't call people names. You call them names that are not offensive. ormo is offensive and I should never have to and never will accept being called what Is offensive to me. You will have to learn to accept that.
Why should I have to accept being called an offensive name? You are a fool if you actually believe that.

How is it not an insult? Its my name here. Its offensive to me. A forum discussion should be like a face to face discussion. If someone is calling you a name you dislike and find offensive would you tell them? Of course you would so why should I accept being called an offensive name.

Jesus you are painful, it isn't your real name so how the hell can it be offensive? I have had a go at you in the past for various things such as claiming to know more than most on rugby matters and nonsensical posts about being involved in media work at matches etc etc but I tend to ignore that stuff anymore, but this rubbish really is laughable, build a bridge good man.

I believe he had a bad incident with a soda farl on one of his visits to Belfast.

Anyway Ormo i have a feeling you are using the name thing to deflect from the links i posted regarding drugs in rugby at an amateur and underage level. A former lions flyhalf has said it's prevalent, numerous Welsh amateur players have been caught. I believe it is the highest number in the uk for an amateur sport.

Again I would imagine that GAA is faced with the same problem. I have no statistics to back up my theory, all I have is my gut to go on. But with the readily available access to steroids in any leisure centre I find it hard to think that boys are taking the advantage thats presenting itself. There may be individuals that aren't using it to get ahead on the pitch but are using it for aesthetic purposes. Others may be using it to get ahead on the pitch. I just think that with the use of drugs in other amateur sports particularly high, it is unlikely that GAA players are not guilty of this too. There is no difference between a gaa player, soccer player or rugby player when they go into the ground. Why would there be when they are on this earth?

Democracy Ormo. The vast majority of posters shorten people's username. Deal with it. No one is being derogatory when they shorten your name to Ormo.

You called me a hypocrite for shortening your username after I had got on my high horse about you shortening my username. I've asked you several times for the proof to this claim, you have totally ignored the fact that you posted this claim. Why? Can you not find the thread in which I supposedly posted this?

Calling someone a hypocrite and then refusing to offer any proof to this, especially when proof should be easily found if you're right, is offensive and cowardly in my eyes.

If you have proof, then fair enough I'll apologise for getting on my high horse that time as it was wrong because anyone can call me anything they like on here and it won't bother me.

It disrespects where im from. It disrespectful of my club name. Its basic etiquette that you call someone as they want and if they feel bullied by being called something else.

In what way is ormo offensive??

Im named here after my local area, my local club. it disrespects both.

It not being my real name doesn't mean offence cant occur. I have worked in the media. Got press passes to games in sportsground/Aviva for local paper etc. Why should I have to accept being called something offensive?

Im not deflecting anything about drugs in rugby. Ive been posting about the name issue for quite a while. Yes there is fools taking illegal substances when playing rugby but there is fools taking illegal substances in all sports.
