How is it possible that an intercounty ref did not see the overcarrying for the mayo goal. Mind boggling! catchturnscore (Longford) - Posts: 151 - 27/03/2016 16:36:37 1838126 Link 0 |

Who cares how many steps he took it was a class goal , do you want to see free outs or great goals? clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 27/03/2016 16:47:18 1838134 Link 0 |
It was the crucial moment in the game and the ref inexcusably missed it. Not good enough. Silly comment clondalkindub. catchturnscore (Longford) - Posts: 151 - 27/03/2016 17:00:20 1838143 Link 0 |
It'd be a great goal if it was within the rules of the game. It wasn't. Also I'd say Roscommon care and would have preferred a free out. CroiGorm (Dublin) - Posts: 1547 - 27/03/2016 17:00:52 1838145 Link 0 |
Too many steps alright but Mayo would have found the net if they had to, Roscommon very poor in the second half. And they got more than a few handy frees from the ref. A fair result in the end. TheFlaker (Mayo) - Posts: 8384 - 27/03/2016 17:09:51 1838150 Link 0 |
Should have been free out for the goal and a lot of questionable decisions went against us but look Mayo should have beaten us by 20 points on today's performance. A number of players not up to standard and were found out today. We needed this reality check to bring us back down a bit. Management needed this kick up the hol*. Picking players on favouritism and not selecting best options Pingcity (Longford) - Posts: 568 - 27/03/2016 17:25:29 1838160 Link 0 |
Terrible conditions and a good game considering . Mayo very wasteful in first half and should have had the game won at half-time. Talking to some Ros lads at the game and if they can be believed this was their reserve outfit. Guess if they put out the first team come summer they'll take stopping. ponga (Mayo) - Posts: 658 - 27/03/2016 17:30:41 1838162 Link 0 |

Well do mayo have better players than roscommon? If so they must be second favourites for all Ireland as they beat the second best team in ireland? sceptical (Cavan) - Posts: 544 - 27/03/2016 20:10:29 1838258 Link 0 |
Roscommon could take a hammering against the Dubs.Dubs as good as Mayo around the middle but much better up front. centerfield (Mayo) - Posts: 360 - 27/03/2016 20:36:17 1838271 Link 0 |

After all da good work Ros are now facing the prospect of playin the dubs 2 weekends on the trot...don't envy them! It could do a lot of damage 2 dem. For the rest Kerry look best placed 2 make da final but given the fact that donaghy is running the show 4 us at midfield I don't see us havin enough 2 take da dubs n croker...think another game against them will be good for Kerry tho. Donegal will prob pick up da 4th semi spot but it seemed sat nite that some of da Donegal lads don't have the legs 2 execute da defensive game plan... blacknamber (Kerry) - Posts: 267 - 28/03/2016 09:25:59 1838324 Link 0 |
If Mayo beat Down , Monaghan beat Donegal and Kerry beat Cork next weekend, that would leave Mayo , Monaghan, Donegal and Cork on 6 points. Would it come down to head to head or scoring differences to decide who goes down? green.and.gold (Leitrim) - Posts: 427 - 28/03/2016 09:55:14 1838330 Link 0 |
