Replying To NarrowBack914:  "Who was in the park yesterday that could give us a run down on Barnabas v Kerry and Donegal v Monaghan matches? Were they any good, did Barnabas play well or were Kerry off??? How did the match go between the 2 big dogs? By the small bits i read and heard, Monaghan started strong but Donegal finished strong."
Got there for most of Monaghan and Donegal game. A lot of new faces on both teams and a good hard game it was. Donegal will be huge favorites now. Heard Kerry and Barnabas was also a good game with Barnabas winning. Would imagine that the big boys are a different caliber

Thanks for the run down CrossGAA. By the sounds of it, Donegal are on their way to another title. I know, its early days yet, and with teams getting knocked out of the championship back in Ireland, new arrivals will be coming soon, even thou none are needed. I see on the schedule Offaly are playing the Celtics over in the park tonight. Im going with Celtics with a few points to spare.

Yeah Cross, been noticing that myself. Only thing i can think of is the person who takes care of that is away on vacation probably. Celtics won handy enough last night 5-9 to 1-6. Wasn't the best of matches by any standard but there were a few runs made by Celtics that were very well done. Noticed Jason Kelly wasn't playing or even there from what i could see, any word on him? Is he even playing for Offaly this year at all? If not, Offaly will struggle the rest of their matches.

Longford lost to mayo by 2 points , surprise for Mayo. Improved a lot from last year. Cavan easily took care of Sligo and would be my favorites at this point.
Barnabas beat Cork and Monaghan beat Kerry. Kerry have an uphill battle now to make playoffs but long way to go yet.
Hurlers a no show again??

Was up at that game last night and it was a war off attrition at times. Westmeath have alot of new lads and are very strong and well set up but would say if luke loughlin was taken out they would be in trouble. Seen a lot off intermediate this year and its very competitive like although brooklyn have lost their last three games i think they have been leading most of them in the second half but cant seem to close them out and now they are in trouble. Sligo and Longford getting beaten at the weekend was a shock. Going to be a very interesting championship with any team that makes the playoffs capable of winning it.

Whomever digs deeper into their pocket in addition to what they have already spend will come out. This Championship is been bought and no two ways about it.

Longford are spending big but have a legal team on field. Most other teams play illegal players or so it seems. Football will so be gone if this trend continues

Barnabas are off to a nice start winning there first two games in the Senior division. Alot of people were writing them off before they even had a kick of the ball, don't think many people thought they'd even win a game hopefully they can keep this up and rattle the big spenders.

Barnabas off to a flyer winning two games. I'm sure Donegal and Minaghan are streets ahead of the other three teams but time will tell.
Great games in the Park last night with Cavan and rangers drawing and mayo and Sligo was almost a draw. Sligo won by one point but Burke stood out as the best forward on the night. Mayo will be hard to beat come playoffs

Monaghan signed the down player who scored 2-9 at the weekend. will be the best forward in NY this summer. could be the difference.

When will the NY board step up and stop this madness of players coming in. Don't they see what's gonna happen when the future in underage see what's going on and just give up on playing gaelic. Typical as always buddy's do great things. Shame on NY . No future at all I'm afraid
