not cork anyway! how are they bottlers?? they came back from 8 points down 4 times this year and were unlucky not to be in an all-ireland final this year monkey (Westmeath) - Posts: 223 - 01/09/2008 21:39:59 90149 Link 0 |

Has to be the Dubs!!!Year after year, failure after failure. Hyped up to be the pretenders to Kerrys crown this year and look what happened!!Lost to a poor Mayo team in 06 in a game they should have won.The list is endless and the future doesnt look too rosy either. galwaycelt (Galway) - Posts: 307 - 01/09/2008 21:59:07 90168 Link 0 |
If by bottlers, you mean under-performers on the big stage over the last 10 years, take your pick between Donegal, Mayo, Derry, Cork & Dublin. banner_boy (Clare) - Posts: 1285 - 01/09/2008 22:00:13 90172 Link 0 |

I'd have to say Dublin. No all Ireland final appearance despite their team and the media hype. 3inarow08 (Kerry) - Posts: 2455 - 01/09/2008 22:17:30 90191 Link 0 |
Anyone but Mayo. They reached two all Ireland finals with a skilful but limited team. They were then well beaten by a better side, as were every other county that faced Kerry. patrique (Antrim) - Posts: 13709 - 01/09/2008 22:30:18 90200 Link 0 |
County Mayo, they never live up to ball-boys hype.:( coO (Cavan) - Posts: 217 - 01/09/2008 22:44:06 90223 Link 0 |

think its unfair to label mayo bottlers, they play a decent brand of football and have been consistenty winning connaught and reaching all ireland finals over the past 15 years, have been unlucky to meet kerry in form in 04 and 06, they also have a great set of sporting supporters goldenyears (Kerry) - Posts: 7 - 01/09/2008 23:18:41 90260 Link 0 |
Jasus Sam calm down lad, was a tongue in cheek remark hi but i wouldn't be far off the mark on the old cider consumption on matchdays. Not sure what they be at in Dungannon now, haven't been out in that town for years but do remember stories of a certain Arena near Armagh in the mid nineties.... mugsys_barber (Tyrone) - Posts: 2160 - 01/09/2008 23:30:21 90269 Link 0 |
But Mayo may play "nice" football, but when the chips are down the pressure on in the "BIG" matches they cave... HokeyPokey (Tyrone) - Posts: 1744 - 02/09/2008 00:37:34 90305 Link 0 |

without question it has to be dublin, never has a team spoke such nonsense at at every intercounty level and never produced the goods, at least mayo are at the business end of nearly all competitions land the odd underage title along the way, logically how could you look past dublin, they havent being in the shake up for anything in decades yet to listen to them you would swear they are a top 5 team ball-boy (Mayo) - Posts: 4211 - 02/09/2008 08:57:17 90347 Link 0 |
