I don't know if I would play Graham there Ziggy..teams usually play a sweeper or 2 in that position you want Graham to play in,he would get completely squeezed and be ineffective, plus he would be pick up by a philly McMahon who would drag him around the pitch when he is ment to be following back..if you want him to play a free roll then he should play in the pocket on the counter..its the opposite of the pitch from turn over ball were there opposition have less bodies from moving forward when attacking... It's a bit like u8 football modern football every little fella follows the ball! WhyTheLongFace (Meath) - Posts: 946 - 06/10/2015 20:30:58 1796571 Link 0 |
none really is the simple answer with the exception of 3/4 at best. There is an excellent panel there now at the moment and the key is about getting them to gell and play to a system of play. Some of the people suggest is crazy as they dont have the physical make up and franly would not get on some senior teams in the country pretender (Meath) - Posts: 358 - 07/10/2015 08:22:24 1796618 Link 0 |
Ziggy I've not heard it but I would imagine Burke will step away too and that Power will be a good shout at 6 in the future (which I've said since Jan 14) brian (Meath) - Posts: 1993 - 07/10/2015 08:54:57 1796622 Link 0 |
If Kerry and Dublin are just prototypes, I'd love to see what the finished product is! CastleBravo (Meath) - Posts: 1678 - 07/10/2015 14:25:33 1796793 Link 0 |

Ya Mento is taking a year out a huge loss to the Meath team,he is one of our new leaders,so next year we will have less experience imo. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 07/10/2015 16:40:20 1796857 Link 0 |
Was impressed with Darragh Smyth over the weekend, but haven't enough of him recently to give a proper judgement.I see Ronan Jones is on team of the week, but I thought he didn't play that well on sunday. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 07/10/2015 16:42:00 1796858 Link 0 |
Maybe just a poor week for midfielders. If Cian O Brien was the stand out, would have to worry. numerosix (Meath) - Posts: 12 - 07/10/2015 16:53:00 1796864 Link 0 |

I wonder will Cillian O'Sullivan be available this year and if so,would the long lay off effect his huge potential.. ziggy32001 (Meath) - Posts: 8354 - 07/10/2015 17:07:56 1796871 Link 0 |
Ziggy, The team of the week is possibly 1/2 peoples opinion so its nothing scientific. I've kept track all year of the teams and lots of lads getting into it with only a few constants in the team. Only a couple of players have been on it 3 times in the 8 weeks they've had it up. Now I'm no club expert so i'll admit there's people out there who'll know more than I. I think I mentioned Ciaran Ellis from Don/Ash last year as a new player (think he was on the TotW 3 times) and the Don/Ash lads said he'd not get close to county. brian (Meath) - Posts: 1993 - 07/10/2015 17:08:16 1796872 Link 0 |
