Heading down to intermediate very quickly unless they sort themselves out. Whole club is a mess and writing was always on the wall this year as a result of management and one selector in particular

kieran mcgrath was outstanding for corofin. moycullen could have won the game but corofin used their experience to get thru.

i dont want to keep harping on about it, but moycullen were missing mark lydon, pat lydon and conor bohan had to come off 20 minutes into the game.while they probably would still not have won the scoreline at the end would have been alot closer.remember there was only 3 points in it with 10 m inutes to go.i expect corofin to now go on and win it.i believe moycullen have a team capable of winning senior in next couple of years.(with their full team). they are very young.average age is around 24.

Dont worry he wont be a rich man. Corofin all the way. They very rarely get to a county semi final and not go on to win it

there is probably nothing at all between galway clubs and mayo clubs....yes 3 galway clubs have won the club all ireland to mayo's two but 4 players on that salthill side that won in croke park 2 years ago were from mayo...including the captain.

its corofins county title this year...only team that could possibly challenge them are college...put ur house on them both being in the final. i heard(from a friend who plays for nuig) that cortoon got some very favourable refereeing calls last weekend...nothing new there, teams from the city/major towns, like castlebar mitchels up here, always get a raw deal from ref's. nuig were delighted they avoided salthill.

Anyway, it'd be nice to see caherlistrane win for a change.

ps: ye're minor hurlers were robbed last wkend.

Just wondering what the caherlistrane and cortoon lads are doing sunday seeing as everyone thinks they have no chance at all? Could a challenge be organised between the two and let corofin and NUIG play the county final this sunday? Caherlistrane have only lost one game all year and Cortoon knocked out Killererin and Salthill so writing off both teams shows a serious lack of knowledge of the two teams. One local analyst seems to have conducted his research by asking his pupils and didn't even attend either cortoon's or NUIG's games in tuam last saturday. I think John Mulholland is offering 9/4 on cortoon to beat NUIG and around 3/1 on caherlistrane. Seems crazy odds to offer.

Fully agree with umpirehitsback comments. The odd offered on NUIG are daft and ar disrespectful to Cortoon. Its going to be a very tight game and their is no doubting this. Corofin will have a very tough game too, the Moycullen game and scoreline flattered them a bit.

would think a cortoon corofin final but the caherlistrane lads are in great form and could cause an upset.
c'strane have 1 or 2 lads back from the states now incl. steven welsh who was on the galway senior panel for a while,

corofins to loose but i am quite confident of a rallying c'strane performance

well ces4 you said earlier that s/g played cortoon ,caherlistrane, and corofin in challange matches and blew them out of the water.dont remember ye playing corofin ye lost to cortoon and beat caherlistrane.dont think caherlistrane lads lost to much sleep about it as they were prob fine tuning some things for the championship.this is something ye will have to wait another year to do as i believe ye are out of this years championship
