Firstly, this is not an unusual incident in GAA, many of us heavily involved know this as its covered up at all levels of the Association. If I were to type all the incidents I have seen this post would never see the light of day. Only for the persistence of the media on this matter it would have been swept under the carpet. Uimhir.a.3. I heard the Armagh boy required a bit of hospital treatment as well albeit not as much as Byrne! bumpernut (Antrim) - Posts: 1852 - 17/07/2015 15:31:46 1754969 Link 0 |

What about Cork's Jamie O'Sullivan's elbow on Dermot Connoly in the league final in front of linesman and referee and nothing happened. So called big investigation by the CCCC and no sanction. So i think the whole process is wrong. jd1963 (Dublin) - Posts: 16 - 17/07/2015 18:35:46 1755075 Link 0 |

Not that I tend to take much heed of stuff written in The Sun but they're saying that Dublin and Armagh have been issued with the findings of the report and both teams have been hit with fines. Doesn't mention any suspensions/bans. CroiGorm (Dublin) - Posts: 1547 - 23/07/2015 12:50:13 1757946 Link 0 |

Jim galvin will be delighted by this as what i want to write about what really happened i know it won't be passed, i will be surprised if the dubs on this site really don't know what happened as big joe said watch the whole video. Yourjoking (USA) - Posts: 744 - 23/07/2015 16:02:38 1758093 Link 0 |

Me too Damo.I was a fan of that Meath team too.I respect manly, tough and brave players. In both codes.I wasnt shy in protecting the square myself as a young lad."Come in at your peril",was my motto.Aghh the memories(: cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 23/07/2015 21:53:28 1758240 Link 0 |
