Today's ref is one of those jealous Meath men.

RUNNERIN
GOOD POST ABOUT NOT PUTTING THE BOOT IN WHEN A TEAM EXITS THE CHAMPIONSHIP
AT THE END OF THE DAY ALL TEAMS TRYTHEIR BEST AND EVEN THE TOP COUNTIES DONT STAY AT THE TOP FOREVER
THINK KERRY 1986 to the mid 90's without an All Ireland
Even ourselves went a long time without an Ulster title
In saying that I saw Roscommon in Ruislip play London and their midfield did not look great, second half they started emptying their bench and their play fell apart.
But hats off to Fermanagh and it would be great to see them win Ulster shortly
What do people think of P McGrath as a manager --- I think he has done some job with Fermanagh , could he take them to Div one next season

First of all, well done to Fermanagh, they're going further than they expected no doubt.
Disaster for Roscommon, double wammy this year, first Sligo and now Fermanagh, they never saw that coming, in fact all they could see was a Connacht final V Mayo.
I think Evans has a lot to answer for!

Even though we were missing several players, there can be no excuse for blowing a 5 point lead late in the game. I will say a few calls by the ref did not go our way but take nothing away from Fermanagh, they fought back well. Our substitutions were a bit puzzling.

A Championship seasons with wins over London and Cavan and losses to Sligo and Fermanagh puts John Evans in a precarious position. Might be time to ring the bells of change.

And maybe some of our younger players. Not one decent footballer in Meath apart from graham Reilly at the moment

Tight games lately are decided by who gets the dodgy penalty

5 points up with 5 minutes to go.
You'd have to seriously question management

Hard luck to Roscommon it's a tough defeat to take when ye were ahead for so long.
If John Evans is finished with ye I would love to see him take our minor team.

Fermanagh have a decent enough record in the qualifers. Down through the years they have beaten Meath twice, Mayo, Cork and Donegal and no team from outside of Ulster has ever won in Enniskillen in the qualifers.

Amazing to me how some people can get such unbridled joy from a result that really should mean nothing to them & can't wait to stick the boot into other counties supporters.
Not to mention the hypocrisy : 'x result proves I was right' one day, 'y result proves nothing' another day.

I've no connection to either county. Hard luck to Ros, I'd be devastated losing like that. Well done Fermanagh, to win from 5 points down without scoring a goal shows serious courage.

Hard luck to Roscommon and well done to Fermanagh as it is a great result for them. McGrath must be doing something correct and if they had been beaten you would not have seen too many complaining about ref decisions. I would not slate any team or player on exit from the championship. Many games are won and lost by decisions that could have gone either way, however it is the players on the pitch who make most of the mistakes.

Is the qualifier football draw tomorrow morning? Also, will the games be in neutral venues?

Good to see that age old Irish tradition of kicking someone whilst they are down is alive and well.
