In my opinion O' Connor should serve his suspension - what message is this sending out to GAA players all over the country especially the young ones just learning their trade as a footballer/hurler - the fact it was only a slap is irrelevant he still struck O' Mahoney and that is a straight red card offence - he was very stupid to do what he did. Having said that O' Mahoney should be punished too - what he did was brutaland tarnished his image as a modern day hard man, i would bet though he was felt a bit of a fool since. It should'nt be that hard to wind him up this week - would love to see Ricey at him in the All Ireland Final if both team make it that far.
