Can't understand why so many people are giving such praise to Masters. He's probably the best man in the country to kick the ball over the bar....as long as there is no one else on the field. Too slow and easily marked, if he is so good why didn't he start against kerry. Keane16 (Kerry) - Posts: 306 - 27/08/2008 14:38:05 86436 Link 0 |
Daytona i dont think you can discount dolan based on one year's championship. He has been carrying westmeath on his own for the past 6/7 yrs. And Westmeath are useless when push comes to shove. HairyZanetti (Mayo) - Posts: 27 - 27/08/2008 14:43:43 86446 Link 0 |
ok hairy zanetti maybe so.but i still dont think he's within the top ten forwards in the country. daytona11 (Kildare) - Posts: 4012 - 27/08/2008 14:52:52 86456 Link 0 |

What do you mean mullockers tiobraid? Surely a man who is apparently one of the best forwards in the country is worth risking against the best team to get to an AI final. Especially if they are willing to bring him on when the chips are down. he has never done anythi9ng playing against good defences. Keane16 (Kerry) - Posts: 306 - 27/08/2008 15:56:01 86587 Link 0 |
I agree Masters does sometimes look poor against good defences, but the fella has scored 5-73 in the last 3 championships, not bad going even if all frees!!!! macattack (UK) - Posts: 584 - 27/08/2008 16:12:12 86644 Link 0 |

Yeah but Daytona this thread isnt about who are the best forwards in the country. This is about the ratings of 5 corner forwards. HairyZanetti (Mayo) - Posts: 27 - 27/08/2008 16:42:00 86708 Link 0 |
Kerry don't have a defence anymoreAlright tiobraid, your ignorance is excused. Keane16 (Kerry) - Posts: 306 - 28/08/2008 11:50:34 87258 Link 0 |
