Cormac mcanallen RIP moved from midfield to full back. I think he showed in the few games he played there, that he could have been one of the greats in this position.

I am not 100 percent sure but i think sean walsh kerry won 7 all irelands 2 all stars played midfield full back and i think he played full forward in one of the games but was named to play midfield?

Somewhat of an obsolete topic nowadays isnt it? Sure there's a conflation of half backs and half forwards nowadays to the extent that positions are largely meaningless.
