black&white County: Sligo Posts: 97 86876 I have taken a serious dislike to Cork after an incident at the 1999 AI Semi-Final. Was going into the Hogan stand and stopped to buy a program. There was a father and son from Mayo stopped in front of me, and the son (around 6 or 7 I'd guess) had a Mayo jersey on him. The next thing two Cork lads going by say to the wee lad "ye're gonna get hammered, ye're nothing but ****ing s**m." To see someone say something like that to a child so young sickened me, and has coloured me against Cork forever more. I know that these two idiots were not representive of Cork people at all, but it left such a bad taste in the mouth that I cannot bear to cheer for Cork ever since ***************** while this is totally unacceptable , i don't think its fair to class all cork supporters in the same light , you have stupid supporters following every county, just look at the some of the dumb comments left on home pages here. A couple months ago i was a pacticular county a guy came up to me in and asked me for a light , I told him that i didnt have one in Irish. I was told go back to my own country ,we werent wanted here. the point is that you have ingorant people every where.

Peter canavan has 1stcousins living in meath and often has been in my local for a few .
Peters 2nd cousin is Niall Farrell ,he plays senior with Donaghmore /Ashbourne in meath..
