Stonecold i've been reading your comment about Dooher and your totally wrong man, and i'm not being biased. Dooher is a very modest man and plays the game at full speed. The opposing team just get frustrated playing against him.
Chill out stonecold, Dooher's a legend of the game.

I don't defend westmeaths style of play - we have the 7 best defnders as a unit in the country - we play to our strenghts and try and win games scoring 1-8, 1-10. We learned no lessons from Tyrone that day. Dessie had a great chance to win it and we were playing with 13 men in Omagh. I didn't come on here to debate Westmeath's style and let me let you in on a little secret - Paidi gave his teamtalks to us after the cameras stopped rolling. I am sorry to have offended Tyrone people but he is not in the same class of footballer and ambassador as Canavan, O'Neill, and Cavanagh. BTW maybe he is modest off the field but the whole footballing world doesn't give a hoot if they see how he carries on on a football field.

stonecold, i couldn't care less if you upset tyrone people about dooher, but you have conveniently ignored my point about the westmeath sendings off. That game was there for the taking by westmeath but the stupidity of 2 players cost them dearly and you seem totally blind to that, just because you want to blame dooher.

I have taken a serious dislike to Cork after an incident at the 1999 AI Semi-Final. Was going into the Hogan stand and stopped to buy a program. There was a father and son from Mayo stopped in front of me, and the son (around 6 or 7 I'd guess) had a Mayo jersey on him. The next thing two Cork lads going by say to the wee lad "ye're gonna get hammered, ye're nothing but f***ing scum." To see someone say something like that to a child so young sickened me, and has coloured me against Cork forever more. I know that these two idiots were not representive of Cork people at all, but it left such a bad taste in the mouth that I cannot bear to cheer for Cork ever since

86500 I hate most of our neigbours but for different reasons:

Louth = because for some reason they can't stand the sight of us, probably jealousy.

JEALOUSY?yeah wer jealous alrit.jealous that it was wexford and not louth that came back from 11 points down to beat meath.

Cavan_Slasher, Wolfe Tones is the GAA Club in Mostrim. There is a little townland beside it called Glen hnce my assumption.
I should not assume though cos it makes an ASS of U and ME.
We'll wait and see what Wolfe Tone himself comes back with.

P.S easy knowing your from Cavan, waiting til the sales in specsavers to buy the glasses ;-)

Shinners, Wolfe Tone replied to the previous poster Glenn Abu, County... Down. Both clubs are in Co. Down. No hard feelings.

If this is the calibre of debate, then clearly the Championship is drawing to a close.

What do I hate? A bunch of lads sounding like little girls getting into fights over what they "hate".

Real mature.

i cant believe im saying this but im actually agreeing with reddoctor for once. stonecold brian dooher is a legend of the sport, on his day there is not a man in ireland that can stay with him and he was not to blame for 2 of your players to be sent off. it was the stupidity of your own players

He may not have. The original poster is Gleann Abú and Wolfe Tone said he didn't like Glen.
I will take my medicine if I am proved wrong!!
Did you get your specs yet or are you waiting for the 2 for the price of 1? ;-)

Shinners, Glenn Abu already explained wher Wolfe Tone was from. Are you not back to school yet as you have a lot to learn.

As far as the rest of the country thinks, b/c im from mayo I was Born Hateing the DUBS and those Nordy people in the Uk...

But guess what.....!!!! you can figure it out :-)

I just dont want Kerry and Kilkenny to do the 3 in a row b/c that would mean that they are miles ahead of the rest of the country. I always like things to be fairly even (in an ideal world maybe). Next year Kerry and Kilkenny :-P
