Brian Dooher is my most hated footballer - he's everything that a gifted footballer (and I do think he is gifted) should not be on the field. In my opinion the amount of times he has gotten players sent off, given sly slaps and generally been an all round nuisance on the field has made me wonder about his playing mentaility and why he enjoys playing it. Some will say win at all costs, this is folly for a man who has the talent not to indulge in such antics as gaelic football is rife with players with more talent that behave and respect the opposition. So I think its a fundamental lack of respect, for himself (he obviously doesn't care his football is overshadowed by the numerous unsavoury incidents he's involved in), his team mates (he could easily get sent off any game), and the opposition (see Damien healy and Doran Harte). And before anyone comes on saying the opposition is out to get him - I say you reap what you sow.

Dont mind seeing Kerry win, however i hate to see PAul Galvin lift Sam this year, after his behaviour.
other than that I really dont mind any intercounty teams. If a munster team is in the All Ireland ,i shout for them regardless of the riveraly between two countys.
On a club level I hate seeing Nemo Rangers win anything.

Couple of things wrong with what your saying there jim. 1. Just because the back door system doesn't suit ye doesn't mean it's flawed. 2. You can't exactly say kerry are backdoor specialists, how many all-irelands did we have before it came in?? If we had to take munster more seriously we would. 3. And four leinsters in a row is nothing special. The standard is very poor as you have proved so brilliantly over the last 6-7 years once ye get out of it.

I hate most of our neigbours but for different reasons:

Louth = because for some reason they can't stand the sight of us, probably jealousy.

Westmeath & Kildare = their fans don't seem to have a good sense of humour (with a few exceptions) and for some reason they think meath are bad winners??? Now come on i never rub in a victory and im gettin used to losing so i ain't bitter.

Dublin = our deadliest rivals, nothing better than beating this bounce but i don't hate them. I do however love cheering for whoever is playing them purely because i know so many dubs and its great craic.

Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool = can't find the words to describe how much i hate them, HALA MADRID!!!

Keane16: 2 less than you would have had any other decade. You are back door specialists and just because it suits you doesnt mean its not flawed. Going for 3 in a row and only Munster Champs once in that time. Take advatage now. There's a change coming. We've lost one game this year. Just like yourselves... makes a lot of sense.

stonecold your very sore man. dooher didnt get any of your lads sent off they did that themselves. hes a hard lad who plays hard, dont agree with the synopsis, the only other player i can remember in 12 years of intercounty football dooher goaded or annoyed was mcfadden last year and that was retribution for all the omagh showboating by donegal in the league. your entitiled to your opinion but there isnt a more honest player than dooher in a tyrone jersey ever sounds like mexican/nordie angst to me.

Red Doctor - there is big difference between hard and cynical - the majority of genuine fans (not blinkered) respect Dooher's ability but not his attitude to the game - Of course you being from Tyrone makes your post obsolete as it is biased, that Westmeath game which i attended just reaffirmed it more that he is not a good sportsman. I used Harte and Healy as examples because they were clear incidents of provocation to get a man booked and sent off. If he was hard he won't have went down twice in quick succession playing dead only to get up and run like a gazelle. Hard men don't do diving. In Croker, I was Cusack stand lower level beside the Cahill incident, nothing again. There is a reason he is not liked or respected by players, he's not honest and thats what irks me more than anything.

stonecold, i'm not a big fan of dooher either but you are totally blinkered about the two westmeath guys being sent off. The fist one pulled bim back around the neck whilst already on a yellow, pretty easy decision to send him off. The second one, Harte, punched him in the stomach with a closed fist as Dooher walked past him. Two men sent off purely due to their own stupidity, not Dooher's doing.

im not biased but if we go back to the first sending off against wmeath how exactly did dooher get his marker sent off, i think it was two bookings for two stupid tackles he ran into harte and he punched him sending off. its laughable somebody from weatmeath talking about cynical along with kildare you have both been the most negative in this years championship. them wee lds from wm learnt a hard lesson this year. you should remembers paudis video plenty of cynicism on there my old mate.
