Young players who were on county teams or were brilliant young club players who never made the final step to senior glory, who do people think?

The list is endless.
Tadhg Brosnan , George Byrne , John L Magee , Martin Reilly , Barry Regan

They are five who coem to mind straight away. There could be a thousand lads you could say.
Ultimately there are about three hundred players in the cointy who are about the smae standard and about ten outstanding players. Its a matter of luck and physical size that will dictate who the rest of the senior panel; are at any given time.

Few lads come to mind: Rory Maguire Don-Ash, Niall Ronan (chose rugby) and Brian Kelly St. Colmcilles, Simon Crawford (Ratoath- might have transferred) Brian McCormack (Walterstown) Treacy (MoM) Justin O'Reilly (Moylagh- overseas)
Are these lads even playing club football now??

I think you could nearly go to every club in the county and name two or three.

Johnny Davis should be a Meath veteran at this stage, think he played rugby years back for Shannon but since returning to Walterstown a few years back he's been in great footballing form.
The best underage footballers i seen were Jonathon Clarke of O'Mathuna and Jerome Lynch of Oldcastle, they were awesome footballers. Wonder what their whereabouts are now???
Also Damian Clarke of Dunderry was an exceptional footballer.
