Jim McGuinness - At it again

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I see he's at it again... how many comments have we heard from Jim Gavin before the game?

I guess McGuinness is looking to make as much noise as possible before Gavin retires him come Sunday

Making full use of the lime light before he toddles off to that soccer club in Glasgow

Jimbod...... All your trying to do is stir it, Mc Guinness made the comments about the odds the same day he talked about yous and Chelsea and that was at a press conference in letterkenny nearly two weeks ago but miracously now they are appearing a few days before the game, typical Dublin Journalsim if you ask me.......... What is he said has you so flustered? He is just stating the obvious and that's the odds they are.... Maybe it's you that is getting the hybee jeepies

Textbook management, that's all. Why have the media focus on your players and heap pressure on them when you could fire a meaningless statement or two at them and watch them eat it up. Don't tell me you haven't seen the likes of this before a big game..

Can someone please tell me what Jim McGuinness's job at Celtic has to do with anything. You Dubs are obsessed with it.

He's not "at" anything, he answered questions that were asked in an interview, snippets of which are then used by journalists to support the narrative that they want to build in the run up to the game. Not everything he says is part of some perceived psychological master plan!

Are the Dubs trying to take ownership of free speech now as well? Given that they control virtually everything else to do with the GAA this wouldn't surprise me at all. Doesn't Jimmy McGuinness know that you are not allowed to say what you see in the world of the Emperor's New Dublin Clothes?

Paul Grimley got slated for not talking to the media. Now McGuinness is getting slated for talking to them. Can't win with some people

Ulsterman is back! Not heard from you since you were predicting Dublin's demise at the hands of the tough Ulstermen from Monaghan. How did that work out ????

Either way, Dublin have brought excitement to this All Ireland competition. Their footall is enjoyable and exciting to watch. Granted, Jim McGuinness doesn't have the players to match Dublin in an attacking style game, but if his style of football continues, we will see an erosion in the basic skills of the game.

the most level headed poster on Hoganstand a chip on both shoulders will do that for you .
Now to those that are in short supply of an abacus , use your fingers to count how many Dubs are on complaining , frankly couldn't give a rats ar7e what McGuinness has to say , it wont make an iota of difference when they take to the field .

@Rockies Cork - The only thing eroding at the present juncture is the reputation of your fragile football team after a limp Munster campaign and then now perennial exit the first time you meet a big team. I wonder how long yourdual players will persist with the football given your on the road to nowhere.
