Any predictions who will win it this year? Presume Jack McCaffrey or young Costello should be favourites should the Dubs win it out. Ryan McHugh and MacNiollas have also impressed for Donegal though. Don's see many other contenders at this stage westcavankid (Cavan) - Posts: 83 - 08/08/2014 16:20:46 1633524 Link 0 |
Should Donegal get there, Patrick McBrearty & Darragh O'Connor will make an impression. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5030 - 08/08/2014 16:54:33 1633547 Link 0 |
Young McHugh is a good shout if he continues his good form in Croke Park for hopefully another 3 games!! Lockjaw (Donegal) - Posts: 9997 - 08/08/2014 16:56:06 1633548 Link 0 |
Paul Murphy for Kerry would be up there I'd say, young mchugh from Donegal Shane Walsh from Galway Costello from Dublin. KingdomBoy1 (Kerry) - Posts: 14092 - 08/08/2014 18:28:13 1633577 Link 0 |
He won't win it but Aaron Findon Armagh midfielder is worth a mention. He stood out as minor against us three years ago i'm not surprised he has stepped up to senior level. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4146 - 08/08/2014 18:35:48 1633582 Link 0 |

I think the outstanding young footballer has been Colin O'Riordan of Tipp. Playing football of the highest quality and putting up great scoring tallies aswell from wing back. He won't come within a sniff of it though unfortunately. 33/1 with PP...:( bob_dolphin (Limerick) - Posts: 694 - 09/08/2014 15:01:42 1633806 Link 0 |

If Odhran McNiallis plays well in the semi final he will get the award. uibhfhaili1986 (Offaly) - Posts: 1296 - 11/08/2014 14:32:23 1634998 Link 0 |
Surely Jack McCaffrey hasn't played enough this year to warrant a nomination for young player of the year. Twenty minutes off the bench here and there in the championship won't win him that award. dub95 (Dublin) - Posts: 17 - 11/08/2014 14:38:12 1635000 Link 0 |
