As for yesterday it was very flat display by ballintubber they simply didn't do themselves justice on the day however Corofin were superb it's the best side I have seen them having since the mid 90s and for me it's a two horse race between themselves and St Vincent's now. Great stuff dished up by kilmallock and Cratlow in the Munster club final yesterday, one of the best club games of hurling ive seen in a while. clonjon (Dublin) - Posts: 665 - 24/11/2014 16:34:43 1674618 Link 0 |

Great win for Kilmallock. Time of year didn't suit Cratloe as they play a similar brand of hurling to the Clare team, a possession game which demands great energy. Been out every week wouldn't have done them any good either going to extra time. While the game was top class entertainment I thought the over carrying, particularly by Cratloe, was crazy. Refs have gone completely soft on this and it leads to fouling by opponents trying to counteract it. Not sure who introduced it on such a wide scale but most certainly Davy's Clare, and Clare teams generally, are guilty of it big time. westisthebest (Galway) - Posts: 444 - 24/11/2014 17:07:55 1674627 Link 0 |

Thanks Belclare, I thought there might be more Burkes. Just shows how important tradition is in some areas, great to see. Soma (UK) - Posts: 2630 - 25/11/2014 15:12:02 1674828 Link 0 |

Both games are live, 2pm for the Munster Final and 3.30pm for the Ulster Final so should be a good day of sport on the box. tyrooney (Tyrone) - Posts: 18 - 27/11/2014 15:20:39 1675211 Link 0 |
The standard of club football this year is shocking bad , Munster is at an all time low for club football not one decent game have I seen and a terrible standard. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 30/11/2014 15:32:20 1675579 Link 0 |
The Munster final was awful. As soon as Stacks were reduced to 14 men,the Nire seemed to be startled that they had a great chance to go on and win. They froze bigtime. It looked like they never really believed they could do it. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 30/11/2014 15:41:49 1675583 Link 0 |
Yeah Munster looks very weak. Terrible final. The Nire only got 1 score after the sending off which happened around the 15 minute mark. Anyone else thought the ref was very poor? besidetheditch (Dublin) - Posts: 81 - 30/11/2014 16:32:54 1675591 Link 0 |
Excellent Ulster final.Hard on Omagh but fair play to Slaughtneil.A fitting last score to win it. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 30/11/2014 16:51:24 1675597 Link 0 |
Agree that Munster Final was dreadful. Nire couldn't score, and gave away 2 soft goals in the first half. Stacks were no great shakes, but knew how to win the game. Standard in Ulster Final far better. thelongridge (Offaly) - Posts: 1879 - 30/11/2014 18:42:51 1675622 Link 0 |
