Love hearing about Ex players Stars still going strong. Matty Forde was still playing great , Ciaran Mc Donald anybody else? Seen Cavans/Mullahorns Paul Brady the World Handball champ out the weekend class Act at 35!

Michael Hegarty at 35 still the best player on a Kilcar theam that has McHugh & McBrearty.

Wouldn't commit to JMcG's regime because of a young family. Total respect but a huge loss to Donegal

Frankie dolan at 36 I believe is the best current example of doing it at the highest level won all Ireland 2 years ago and beaten in a controversial connacht final this year

Mike Frank Russell (37) for Laune Rangers is still scoring for fun. I doubt he's still going now but Seamus Moynihan (40) was massive for Glenflesk for a long while after he'd retired for Kerry.

Vinnie Murphy still plays for Monicas, or did up until last year. Eamon Heery made a few cameo appearances for the great Joeys a few years ago!

Vincents wouldn't have been in a final with Tomas Quinn

Some unbelievable performances for Vincents in the build up to the final

Joe Sheridan is playing really well with his club. Lacks the pace needed for county football these days though.

Not in relation to football but I saw the post about it today , Brendan Cummings scored 19 points in hurling for his club at 39 , Correct me if I am wrong, that's some scoring for a man who did goalkeeper for his county

Yep any intercounty player should stand out at Club level

Intercounty is comparable to Premier League, Senior Club would be League two

Said already - Mossy Quinn was immense this year. Little mention to Eamo Fennell for Vins as well. Very good at Club just hasn't the legs for intercounty.
Mark Vaughan always done well at club for Crokes.

Back to Vinnies back in 2008 Gilroy was massive for them in their All Ireland win.
