Meath v Kildare

Peter Kelly being ruled out is a big blow.

Fair enough we didn't get a chance to play him much this year at all, but having him back and close to full fitness would have been a massive boost.

Every county would suffer without an All Star cornerback.

At least whoever plays won't have Newman to mark :)

Wouldn't have been overly worried about him from general or open play to be honest. It's probably when halfbacks or midfielders are bursting out of the middle third and running at the opposition halfback line and winning frees that sees Newman at his most dangerous.

Is every good team not 3 players away from challenging? When you say 3 players how good do have to be cause if a Tomas O Se Dara O Se and Gooch type players came through surely most good teams would be challenging then?

Three Rory O'Carroll's...

Was hoping to see how much Meath progressed since last year (think they are better than some of the teams ranked above them), pity about the injury list though. Good luck to both and may the best team win
I'll take Meath by 2

Pretty good would do, depends on the team really.

O'Sullivan
Another
G Reilly
Wallace
Sor
Newman

Sub's

Got nice 13/8 this morning. Newman is a loss but that's crazy odds. Also just after having a nibble at the 16/1 for Leinster.

Great sign of progress for Meath that 13/8. In from 7/2 last time we played!

I think this will be highscoring, we are possibly still vulnerable at the back but are going invthe right direction, peter kelly is a loss, but we have the firepower to outscore Meath, i predict kildare to race into a big lead and to hang on by a couple of points at the finish

Royaldunne throwing his money away again ,Meath will not beat Dublin in a Leinster final if they get there.

I hope Meath win as I think they can give Dublin a better game in the final. Meath by 5 points.

I still think we will beat this MEath team with a lot to spare. At least 6-7 points.

I hope I'm wrong but I think Kildare will win relatively easily in the end, probably 6-8pts.

Im with the above posters. .

Not a true reflection of Meath this year. It will be a completely disjointed team.

Kildare by 6-8 at least

Has royaldunne ever admitted that a meath team might just be up against it? And to suggest that that meath team could challenge for an all ireland is just outrageous.

11Jm11 he's been saying the exact same bull on here the last 2 years , he just says it to be the big hard Royal man who believes Meath will always win but he knows that's not true.

Ah fair play to Royaldunne. Himself and Htaem are two decent Royal fans. Looking forward to this match. Kildare by a couple of points.
