Threw him around like a rag doll? When exactly did this happen? It's hard to believe the amount of goal chances we create in every game, I think we had 12 chances on Sunday but only scored two , one day will click with the goal chances and some team is going to ship 8 or 9 hopefully Meath so we can shut them up about 2010.

MesAmis loved the way John O loughlan dragged Mcauley around like a rag doll . He played well alright. Pity he was nowhere in sight when the Rag Doll crashed one home into the Hill to secure the win!
He was probably heading over for the hop ball on the sideline...

The Master what did you make of Paddy Andrews getting a two handed slap to the face? No one seems to have an opinion on it yet 3 years ago posters wanted Dermot Connolly to miss an all Ireland over something way less than that.

Damothedub, why would I tire of making a valid point that is reasonable to the argument?
Why are you getting so defensive about it?

But Damo we play we're put.. :)
The Culchies had their chance..
It's for the benefit of the entire organisation
Sure Mayo played many home games last year in Connacht
Sure Mayo spent 650,000 on one team in 2013
etc etc etc etc

Question for Dublin fans ?? Can Kildare or Meath beat Dublin ?? My own opinion:::: Kildare to beat Meath and to give Dublin a helluva game.
Other question??? Reading Gaelic life and Joe Brolly. He thinks Dublin are the only team equipped to beat Donegal provided they are back to 2012 form. Now as Brolly says with TWO buses parked and Attacking from all angles Donegal could be a tough nut to crack. The 2013 Donegal won't get near Dublin but anything near 2012 then we would have a chance. I think we would perform better against Dublin than a lot of teams (eg) Cork Mayo or Kerry. If the results go according to plan then we will have the Semi final I WANT ::: Dublin v Donegal. Now If (and it's a big IF) that were to happen I'd expect J McG to have his homework done on Dublin and have a plan and a second plan to really put it up to Dublin. Can Dublin beat Donegal if they meet or better still can Donegal beat Dublin if they meet. ????

I believe it would be far better for TheMaster to recognise Dublin for what they are, which is an excellent footballing team and a great advertisement for Gaelic Football. Dublin play Gaelic Football the way it should be played. Their players have been rewarded with All-Ireland senior medals, under 21 medals, All-Ireland minor and All-Ireland club medals. Perhaps Mayo should take note agus bhfeidir go mbeadh an ocras ó 1951 tart sar i bhfad.

i said all week before kildare v louth that the quiet build up this year would be perfect for kildare unlike other years where pressure was heaped on them. now you also have to have been at the match to realise how poor louth actually where but kildare where never as bad as people were making out and never as good as they were hyped to be and most kildre supporters tell you that out straight. a lot of football to be played in 3 weeks time for both teams before any talk of dublin kildare game. certainly too far away to even be thinking of dublin donegal as a match

Of all the teams in Leinster who have drastically underachieved Laois would be my number 1. The pre match media furry was a joke with proposterous odds floating about. Laois have some serious ball players who caused us plenty of problems. They dominated midfield in the first half and while both should have scored more in the first period Laois should of had over 10 first half points. Under current tactics any team with good forwards who take Dublin out at midfield will cause huge problems. What's of note is the Dublin line usually fix the rot before it becomes a potential match losing problem.
I thought our defence was very poor in the first half with the passing out of it appalling at times. We were second to most breaks which was also disappointing. We struggled badly in the two central defensive positions with ROC and ND giving their opponents far too much room. Second half saw greater efficiency, urgency and economy and given a suitable platform our forwards usually deliver.
The current position of this undoubtably eccellent Dublin side is vastly overstated. The media have let the hypothetical become reality with little evidence. The team is well placed but certainly not the dead cert for an AI that is portrayed. The lay of the land has not changed much since the league began and 100 minutes in the league semi/final does not inherit greatness.

dublin traditionally never come out on fire in first game of championship

2011 - Laois 0-11 v 1-16 Dublin (8 points) 2012 - Dublin 2-22 v 0-12 Louth (16 points) 2013 - Dublin 1-22 v 0-09 Westmeath (16 points) 2014 - Laois 0-16 v 2-21 Dublin (11 points)
But we never start on fire ?
Maybe not in terms of performances, But results suggest we've battered teams in our opening games in recent years.

On a normal day all things being equal Dublin will beat Kildare and Meath , Meath have suffered some big injuries which has to have an effect , Id said at start of year Meath to give us hardest game in Leinster , Kildare IMO have not pushed on , lost J Doyle who was absolute class , we on the other hand it seem going in the other direction , so not being cocky I wouldnt have Meath or Kildare at the top of my list as most likely candiates to topple us , Now the more awkward question , Donegal , yet a gain on an earlier post I put them up as dark horses PROVIDED key players stayed injury free and in addition the hunger was there , now both of those facts we wont know untill the day they meet if both have been succesfull of course . For sake of argument I see the following , Donegal frustrate Dublin similar to 2011 , target goal kicks , and park two buses , it goes either way . Scenario one our attacking flair penetrates Donegal defence and now you are sitting ducks as you have to attack us hence you leave space behind , Scenario Two Donegal get a fast start as some have v Dublin and it will be a long day for the blues as Ive said since last year Donegal are the one team Id hate to be relying on one of our famous comebacks , Gun to the head and heart Id pump for Dublin for as much faith as you guys have in J McGuinness I have just as much in J Gavin , I also believe our attacking options are way ahead of 2011 , but can say hand on heart its not a game Id be overly confident , we have meet Kerry Cork Mayo and Tyrone a fair bit recently and Id be confident we know what they will bring to the party , Monaghan and Donegal less so. Of course sport can throw up underdog surprises etc , but all in all thats how I feel we would figure should we meet .
