Dessie mone -Monaghan. he is one of the most valuable players to monaghan, very much underrated and should of had an all star last year. MonMan97 (Monaghan) - Posts: 33 - 03/06/2014 12:56:44 1597236 Link 0 |
The Donal Keoghan thing surprises me a bit, I've seen him twice getting taken to the cleaners by Conor McManus. Definitely agree with Donnacha Walsh as mentioned by a previous poster, was superb against the Dubs last year but never got the credit. Then there's guys like Niall McNamee from Offaly and Emlyn Mulligan from Leitrim who while not completely under rated would walk onto any team in the country and be household names with All Stars and All Irelands in their back pockets had they been born in any of the big counties. Emlyn Mulligan would be regarded as one of the best around if he was from a bigger county than Leitrim jafallon (Galway) - Posts: 489 - 03/06/2014 17:10:55 1597469 Link 0 |

I think the fact that Donal keoghan has consistently been one of the top defenders is why people keep mentioning him. Look he has done it against the likes of mcmin j Doyle etc keeping them scoreless. Yes twice against Monaghan he got roasted, but it was hardly man to man. The way Meath were set up in both them games was a joke, also this year there was talk of him carrying a injury around that time. I don't think any opponents would relish facing him. He is top drawer. And when dubs go on about g Reilly they conveniently forget that he had s stormer in 10. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 04/06/2014 09:26:24 1597672 Link 0 |
Paul Browne for Limerick, most underrated midfielder in the country. He has a better engine than Thomas the tank. Hoover78 (Limerick) - Posts: 865 - 04/06/2014 10:24:03 1597698 Link 0 |
Opinions differ RD, including many from your own county and many I know from Meath also regarding him. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 4250 - 04/06/2014 11:07:49 1597730 Link 0 |
Who underrates Aaron Kernan? Great player for Armagh and Cross and is very highly rated so I disagree with you Fionn. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 04/06/2014 11:22:33 1597749 Link 0 |
clondalkin, it was Getoverthebar who originally posted it. I was agreeing with him. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 4250 - 04/06/2014 11:35:28 1597766 Link 0 |
