Looking forward to seeing the brawl. The actual game sounds like filth.

Yeah sponger, you being a wicklow man would prefer watching the brawl and not the football...Typical Wicklow!

my northern brother, we would'nt even win those fights at the moment.

Sounds like Cavan didnt have the stomach for a fight when Armagh put it up to them.

I'm shocked. First the mass brawl at before the ball was even thrown in, and then we got taken apart with ease! I haven't seen as bad a Cavan performance for a while.

It's a cowardly act in Armaghs part to inflict an injury on Dunne before a ball is kicked.

Saying that, Cavan didn't deserve to win
.

From my angle it looked like the Cavan men started the row. Armagh were all lined up, albeit behind the wrong flag. Cavan men ran over and tried to push them out into the stands. Dunne was just a casualty of it, nothing pre-meditated about it.

Flags always cause am issue in the north.

The brawl happened right in front of me. I hope RTE cameras have everything. 2 Cavan players got Jamie Clarke on the ground and repeatedly kicked him on the ground. I don't mind men going one on one but when its two on 1 and them kicking a man on the ground its disgusting. I am not surprised Jamie or someone else ended up hitting out.

On the game itself cavan really were dire. Armagh missed 4 very easy goal chances and kicked an awful wides in the first half. The return of james morgan was a big boost, surely one of the best defenders in the country.

With the inevitable suspensions to come, whoever wins next Sunday could have an easier path to the final than Donegal.

We never got going anyway until Mackay got on ,missing Mackay half a game ,dunne and Killian Clarke has to matter at the end of the day and I'd also say mark Mac keever has a lot more to offer than the chances he's getting ,but when It was so crowded in the armagh half early on Keating should of been brought out earlier for some long distance shooting , and a good free taker is costing us big time too.armagh got away with a lot today and went out to put Cavan off there game, Duffy gave us nothing another fine game for a ref ,all in all neither team will win anything going by that ,were bit by bit loosing our form too - terry has to address this.

You gotta love cavans optimism coming up thinking ulster is a possibility. That cavan team are going know were. Their build up was so slow , the worst attackin display iv seen armagh play against this year.Clueless springs to mind.Givney stood like lamp post in ff an their movement was terrible.Armagh got the tactics spot on and dominated every position. Armagh missed 4 1v1's an had double figures for wides so something to work at. Hopefully theres no suspensions for next game.

Was at the game but we were on the other side of the field. This is not the first time - remember Ulster Semi 2004 when the Armagh team ran directly through the line of Cavan players at the end of the parade and Francie Bellew executed the greatest dive in the history of Armagh football in the first minute of the game. That cost us our midfielder Pearse McKenna. Still they only fell over the finishing line. But we had a lot of seasoned players then - today most are or recently were Under-21s and never encountered anything like this. Anyway disgraceful scenes and badly managed by the officials who just watched the show. Both teams should be removed from the Championship and that would settle this kind of thing once and for all.
No excuses - we were awful today

Cavan are not good enough. I've heard some absolute nonsense this week about how they were dark horses for Ulster.

Any more jokes?

Haha well yous were out on force on hogsnstand thinkin yous would walk today. I thought armagh were bad but yous were anonymous. Cavan had been winning due to their defensive tactics but player wise bar a couple of players they are pretty poor.:-)

Royal blue 2
Admire what you say and it can't be brushed under the carpet I'm sure there are lots of decent Cavan and Armagh people there today who were appaled. Imagine heading to a game, bringing young kids with you and all he'll breaks loose and that's before the game even starts.
Not taking sides but if it's true Armagh went behind the Cavan flag to parade , I wonder what were their intentions. ??? Now there are a good difference in the two Counties colours.
I know back in the nineties Clare /Waterford game of hurling had an explosive start but at least they waited to the parade was over. But there were suspensions handed down.
I think the GAA has to make a big stand on this , something like this can't be allowed to happen again Also it is going to foster bad relations between Cavan /Armagh. What if they were to meet later on this year in the back door ??? I feel really sorry for the genuine supporters of both counties and if the two teams are thrown out then it's bound to set both teams back as both are trying to develope decent teams again

Armagh must think the future is blue as they are getting in behind the blue flag as well
