(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

He was Fully Fit...No injuries...
I think you are thinking of previous midfielder O' Domhnaill...He played the last few years with damaged fingers!!!!! And he was still better than this lot!!!

sammy up till your last post you'd be talking sense! barry did play broken fingers though and we all know he's main attribute is fielding ball- claregalway just capitulated to a team who were far hungrier to the ball and much more aggressive- still without barry to catch ball it was always gonna be a big ask

Fair enough Homer, but how about An Cheathru Rua having to play without their ex county midfielder Sean O Domhnaill who HAD gotten the better of Barry in the previous two encounters? I am not putting down Barry, fair play to him he puts in a big effort to play for his county but you cannot deny he was non existent in all three encounters and if he had broken fingers he should have been on the sideline in a cast like your Goalkeeper! O'Briain is a good player and is improving with every game, not long ago he was playing in Junior Football and it would be great to see him get a chance, he deserved one with the Under 21's this year but was left out in the cold (not uncommon for Conamara players!!!)

sammy..i just want to ask you what is your problem with barry cuillane? You seem to never stop on about him and knocking him..he may not be the great footballer you look for and lacks some skill but in fairness he puts everything into any game he plays and is a huge physical presence against any team he plays against. As a neutral I think you should lay off him.

sammy its a recent injury as in after the kerry match- and yes barry has been non existant against an ceathru rua to date but there's still no doubting he's been the best midfielder on the club scene the last few years and i was impressed with o brien but at the same time he still has a lot to prove at this level

Homer.....The man was playing in Leauge B Football...How can you say he was the best club footballer in Galway????? We didn't even see him competing against the top clubs!!!! I dont have anything personal against the lad...I dont know him!!! But I hate it when I see players being picked..for County when they shouldn't... You ask why is it Barry, I am picking on??? I will tell you honestly...There are a good few on the Galway team, that are not good enough!!!! But I honestly see them getting better...There is room for improvment..they will get stronger..and they will learn a lot from this year!!! But with Barry.. AND ANOTHER THING.....I told the guy Barry was fit to play against Kerry..no injuries... YOU came back and said he had broken fingers!!! NOW you are coming back again saying it was after the Kerry game he was injured!!!! MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!!!! The CARRAROE LAD WHITEWASHED him...NOT ONCE but three times.. I speak in FACTS... I dont come on this message board saying LIAM SAMMON picked A midfielder with broken fingers!!!! Do you think we are fools or something????
