Clare-Galway...Are as much a GAELTACHT club as The Breathna or Carraroe.....When did I cheer Clare-Galway...I had a bet on them...obviously nobody likes to loose money.....I dont love Carraroe that much!!!!!! It is the Hate between Connemara clubs...that I can't figure out....... Carraroe and Lettermore hated each other.....for years.....Still do I think....Now it is the Breathna's turn to be hated....Please dont be saying it is because of supporters!!!!!!I mean surely...different sets of supporters aren't that different..just because they live on the other side of a wall...or a ditch...or is seperated by a few miles......It is pure and simple........And I am ashamed to say it....The place is full of Jealousy....and Spite....And each set of supporters (majority of them)...Would prefer to see a team from South Africa winning than their neighbours......

I do support teams from the west before any other team. I remember supporting MB down in Baile Mhúirne (Naomh Abán) in the Comortas Peile na Gaeltachta 1996, as much as it pains me to say it. There was a large number from our club there more than from MB - untill the final that is. I would do the same again.

Excuse Me....They got roasted by Kerry there.....We scored .....01.16...Hurling Score...Full back line held their own... We lost Midfield BIG TIME..And Half backs...

well sammy seems we're in total agreement on something, galways current midfielders aren't up to it, no combination has worked there, barry cul seems as honest as the day's long but just simply lacks mobility and basic skill, good fielder granted. must remember though that we had a midfielder a few years back that hardly anyone rated but he still won an all ire scoring a very famous point in the final, last i heard though he was working in a hotel.

I am out of the country and have not heard a whole lot about this game. I would really appreciate it if someone could post a report of some sort. Is it true that Cullinane played with broken fingers? Not much use if he cant catch the ball.
