Monaghan vs Tyrone

Be interesting to see if Mickey Harte makes any changes at half-time. Maybe move Sean Cavanagh away from vinney corey and take off stephen o'neill.

Interesting first half in a game that that yet to come to life.

McManus lookng rusty & seems to be there mainly for frees. Morgan has lost the head & is all over the place, at time he is more of a liability because you never know what he is going to do.

A few moments during rtes coverage shows 4-5 secs of them showing the fans or the back of mcmanus during a phase in play . Kinda annoying and takes from the game

Pictures are by the BBC.

O'Neill should be taken off. Maybe move Coney to full forward. Clerkin making the most of that. Looks like he needs a rest. Tyrone need Mattie Donnelly and Peter Harte to start taking on the Monaghan cover running from deep.

Defences loosening up now, helping Tyrones shooting, they'll need it!

Lads I have a question for ye, when mcCurry was taking a free in the first half he soloed the ball twice before kicking it over the bar, technically when he soloed the ball had he not taken the free and couldn't he be tackled?

I agree, he should be fair game to be tackled. He has struck the ball with his boot therefore the ball has brought into play. Don't think the ball has to travel a specific distance after it's kicked before it's deemed to be in play.
