Really looking forward to this game today, I am giving a hesitant vote to Tyrone because Monaghan are diminished without a fit McManus.

Here's hoping you knock lumps out of each other with Armagh waiting in the semi final to finish the job!!!

The winner of this game beats Armagh and contests the final. I believe McGuinness had a 4 year plan. Line one of said plan reads "Figure out how to beat Tyrone and do it." Line 2 reads "Repeat Line 1". Here's to a Tyrone victory.

While I bow to your superior local knowledge patk, I am long enough in the tooth to know that njust because a player is named in the starting 15 it doesn't mean he will play. Even if he does play a part in today's game, I don't think he is 100% or near it.

We saw last year the folly of playing men who are not right but I suppose Monaghan would be like ourselves in that they don't have a good enough bench to compensate for the loss of key players the way Dublin would.

Any way, one way or another, good luck today. Monaghan are worthy champions & I am looking forward to the game.

I know that Muckross, but McManus isn't named in the 15! He mightn't start yet, it's just the word in the county, he might feel a twinge in the warm-up and that'll be that. Personally I'd have rathered he come on with 15-20 to go and give the team a lift and hopefully close the game out well, I still think we've a good enough team overall to be in touch until the closing stages even without him, it's quite lazy analysis to say that no McManus means we've no chance, which is the stance almost all of the country's media have taken.

Who knows what way it'll go, not long now to find out.

I think that was actually Conor Clarke behind the goal waving his hands.

Ah right

Clever stuff... that's a new one

Yes, he should have been removed before the kick was taken.

A few moments during rtes coverage shows 4-5 secs of them showing the fans or the back of mcmanus during a phase in play . Kinda annoying and takes from the game

Lads I have a question for ye, when mcCurry was taking a free in the first half he soloed the ball twice before kicking it over the bar, technically when he soloed the ball had he not taken the free and couldn't he be tackled?
