Love to see Roscommon with their fancy Rossie Bus :o) win, but I think Mayo will have way too much for them. Fionn (Dublin) - Posts: 4467 - 20/05/2014 12:45:03 1590695 Link 0 |
Roscommon have no chance against the eventual 2014 All Ireland winners! Snufalufagus (Dublin) - Posts: 8100 - 20/05/2014 12:46:15 1590696 Link 0 |
If Mayo are in the mood it will be a ludering of biblical proportions. MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 20/05/2014 12:46:20 1590697 Link 0 |

I agree YT. In fairness this game is a good bit away yet and there are plenty of other games to be played before it. Bit early yet TheMaster (Mayo) - Posts: 16187 - 20/05/2014 12:53:22 1590706 Link 0 |
I watched Roscommon in the div 3 league final. The first 15 minutes they were awful. Cavan were pulling away easily from them, but the rest is history. If they start like that against Mayo it'll be over by half time. However, this Mayo team has regressed considerably since last year based on the league. No spirit, no fight against Derry in the semi-final, even with an extra man for most of the game. The game will be considerably closer than last year. I actually believe Roscommon have better forwards than Mayo, but Mayo have an advantage in midfield. Will Roscommon give any of the u21's a start does anyone reckon? Roscommon have plenty of quality players in all areas of the team now and are very capable of putting it up to Mayo if Mayo are in anyway complacent, If Mayo are at their best they will be too strong for the Rossies Flynners (Kildare) - Posts: 23 - 20/05/2014 13:27:14 1590732 Link 0 |
Much as I'd like to say Ros have a chance I don't believe they have a hope of staying with Mayo. lowballplease (Galway) - Posts: 935 - 20/05/2014 14:11:29 1590766 Link 0 |

Roscommons second half performance was worrying against Leitrim.I lost a bit of faith in them after fading away miserably to average opposition.Mayo should win comfortably. cuederocket (Dublin) - Posts: 5084 - 20/05/2014 14:33:18 1590777 Link 0 |
The Rossies will put it up to Mayo but Mayo should have enough for them over 70 minutes. Dubsfan28 (Dublin) - Posts: 2509 - 20/05/2014 14:34:23 1590779 Link 0 |
We'll win by 5 or 6 points. Roscommon do have decent forwards but we have very good backs. If they show the fight their u21s brought in the second half of the All Ireland they'll be a serious threat. GreenandRed (Mayo) - Posts: 8168 - 20/05/2014 14:34:31 1590780 Link 0 |
Roscommon are a potential hazard for Mayo. But given their League and U21 success they're a hazard that come equipped with klaxons, bells and flashing lights. Mayo should be too well aware of the danger to be complacent. roundball (Tipperary) - Posts: 2514 - 20/05/2014 14:46:35 1590794 Link 0 |
