Maroon: Hurling is an 'All Ireland' sport!! That would be a nice idea, when is Croke Park going to start that concept? Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9825 - 06/03/2014 14:06:55 1555677 Link 0 |
I'd like to see Kildare, Wicklow, Clare, Mayo, or Roscommon win a senior football all ireland and I'd like to see Antrim, Waterford, or Carlow win a senior hurling all Ireland. WoodlawnPat (Galway) - Posts: 288 - 06/03/2014 14:41:35 1555706 Link 0 |
In football I'd like to see Kildare have some Leinster/All Ireland success. In hurling I've always had great respect for Offaly after their brilliant sportsmanship after the 89 semi final and would like to see them back in the top fold. I wouldn't begrudge Dublin the 5 in a row there working really hard to promote the game in the City and the 5 in a row would help. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 06/03/2014 15:31:21 1555739 Link 0 |
Hurling - Obviously Galway, but would love to see any of Dublin, Limerick or Waterford winning one. gilly0512 (Galway) - Posts: 1176 - 06/03/2014 15:42:24 1555741 Link 0 |
Needless say I'd give anything to see another down here in my lifetime. I think every county should feel it. I would begrudge cork Kilkenny Kerry and Dublin(football) anybody else is fine by me. Awful shame the last Waterford crop never crossed the finish line. Always felt bad for limerick two after 94 when offaly robbed them. Not 96 though. We were the better team and should have won by more :) Doylerwex (Wexford) - Posts: 3836 - 06/03/2014 17:30:51 1555802 Link 0 |
Hurling - Galway or Wexford, different reasons, Galway have had too many talented hurlers to have so few. Wexford, really good supporters and a credit to their county. On a side note i always respect Clare and like Cork of the big boys as they are a really decent bunch. Hoover78 (Limerick) - Posts: 865 - 06/03/2014 18:11:30 1555821 Link 0 |
Its great to see all your comments on not begrudging the Deise an all ireland, its hard to think Paul Flynn, Ken McGrath, Fergal Hartley, Eoin Kelly, Dan Shanahan, and unless this year Tony Browne will never win an all ireland at senior level. juniorjudge (Waterford) - Posts: 383 - 06/03/2014 18:13:51 1555822 Link 0 |
