No offence midleton but every county team puts in the effort?

I begrudge no county an all ireland. Any county that wins is deserving of their title imo.

No offence Jackeen but that is not true in my opinion. Every team puts in AN effort but not THE effort (if by that you mean the same level of dedication). You heard Davy say it today even that the Clare hurling team was like a pub team a few years ago (or words to that effect), there were many stories coming out about the Donegal footballers a while back and even this year Pete McGrath was having issues with Fermanagh footballers. Leitrim had issues last year. The commit of the top teams (partially why they are top) is far ahead of the also rans. You are right though, they deserve their titles.

Football: Galway, Monaghan or Kildare
Hurling: Limerick

For Munster football too would love to see someone outside of Kerry Cork win it. Limerick have come so close, and hopefully Tipp can build on underage! Was gutted in 2011 when Limerick drew Kerry in QF. Getting to a All Ireland Quarter final for the first time and then having to play a team you play year in year out, and more often not lose to. Would have been nice if they got a crack off another provincial winner.

Maroon: Hurling is an 'All Ireland' sport!! That would be a nice idea, when is Croke Park going to start that concept?

I'd like to see Kildare, Wicklow, Clare, Mayo, or Roscommon win a senior football all ireland and I'd like to see Antrim, Waterford, or Carlow win a senior hurling all Ireland.

In football I'd like to see Kildare have some Leinster/All Ireland success. In hurling I've always had great respect for Offaly after their brilliant sportsmanship after the 89 semi final and would like to see them back in the top fold.

I wouldn't begrudge Dublin the 5 in a row there working really hard to promote the game in the City and the 5 in a row would help.

Needless say I'd give anything to see another down here in my lifetime. I think every county should feel it. I would begrudge cork Kilkenny Kerry and Dublin(football) anybody else is fine by me. Awful shame the last Waterford crop never crossed the finish line. Always felt bad for limerick two after 94 when offaly robbed them. Not 96 though. We were the better team and should have won by more :)

Hurling - Galway or Wexford, different reasons, Galway have had too many talented hurlers to have so few. Wexford, really good supporters and a credit to their county. On a side note i always respect Clare and like Cork of the big boys as they are a really decent bunch.

Football - Mayo or Kildare.

I have to congratulate Mayo on their support, come championship we generally travel in numbers but they are very good indeed.

Its great to see all your comments on not begrudging the Deise an all ireland, its hard to think Paul Flynn, Ken McGrath, Fergal Hartley, Eoin Kelly, Dan Shanahan, and unless this year Tony Browne will never win an all ireland at senior level.

Would like to see Wexford or Galway win in the hurling.
Meath or Kildare for the football

Good post

Id love to see Wexford win a few more but the fact I seen them do it in 96 would push Waterford ahead for me . If I could see Dublin win just 1 in my life Id die a happy man. Would love to see Waterford and Limerick then win 1 and Wexford add another
