Haha tell you what Midleton it isn't too much of a problem stopping us winning Sam these days, if you have any sort of defence at all we're screwed. Ye Hurling is the poor relation in Meath and a lot of our fans (myself included) often forget that Boylan was actually a Hurling man initially, but anyway you'll never see Liam stopping in Meath unless he's lost.

Limerick. how we threw away two in the nineties Ill never know. Wouldnt mind seeing waterford or galway win one two just not at our expense.
Football: Mayo for family connections and also Limerick or tipperary. dual counties which might improve a serious amount in the next few years

Hurling:
Realistically, I'd like to see Dublin or Limerick one. I'd also not begrudge Galway one.

Football: Derry, Kildare or Down.

With respect to Portumna, it would be a great shot in the arm for Carlow hurling (and by extension other counties at that level) if MLR were to win an All-Ireland next week....

Waterford or Wexford in the hurling, either would delight me no end as long as it wasn't at our expense.

In the football, Mayo would be my preference to win Sam just to end their heartache, but I would love to see someone like Down, Monaghan or Wexford win it either.

Football: Mayo or maybe Kildare, reckon they'd both go absolutely mental if they won one.

Hurling: Limerick, Waterford or Galway for much the same reason.
