You need to complain to Toyota, someone knocks on your door and gives you 16 cars for players/mentors of hurling and football and Toyota Proace to transport their kit around who is going to complain?

Munster Rugby get a better deal. Nobody up in arms about that. Well done to Mossy for organising this. Good to see players getting looked after.

I heard they're all getting their own helicopters and private yachts before the championship, bit ridiculous considering I saw half the Meath team driving home in bet up old Renault Fuegos and the other half having to get a lift home on the Tayto Park double decker, it's just wrong!

Dublin - car brand sponsor deal

Well now, isn't it ironic that the county that has the least amount of travelling to do has got another huge sponsorship deal with a car brand. I wonder how will the wise old heads that run the GAA create a level playing field for ALL other counties. Take for instance the footballers from Leitrim who have to commute from Dublin twice a week for training and again at a weekend for a game, should Croke Park provide a shuttle bus for those lads. I imagine if the Dubs had to travel to New York or London like the Connaught teams, there would be deal struck with Boeing or Airbus.

What's the benefit to the GAA of Dublin hiring a guy to get 16 cars for players? If it's their money fair enough but isn't this the same county that's getting by far the most funding from the GAA? Also this is very close to professionalism. If it's individual players been brand ambassadors that's fair enough, but your own county board signing a deal that gets you a car because you play football/hurling for your county really is close enough to that.

Cue all the crap about Dublin getting preferential treatment. People should aspire to how their county board is organised and motivated to do the best for their county and not only concerned about their clubs like so many boards up and down the country are. Good on them. Can't remember many complaining about skoda giving cars to Tipperary last year.

And to rub salt into the wounds, AIG will look after the insurance, all we need know is our local friendly Topaz station to provide the fuel free of charge, a bummer about the car tax though.

Dublin players are semi professional they have a massive advantage in everyway but if I was in the same team I'd be lapping it up

Private company decide to increase their awareness in the capital city by sponsoring the most popular sports team in the city/county
What this private company does with its own money is quite simply none of anyone elses business and all the sour haters on here will just have to deal with it.
Driving a Toyota will not make a jot of difference come the summer when a fella has a man to his left a man to his right, he looking at the keeper and has to make a call on what to do....!!

i didnt hear anyone complaining when the Cork lads were drinking pots of free Barrys tea in the 90's!!

Once this sort of stuff starts it usually signals the end.

After 2012 the Donegal lads were given their choice of tractor, Massey Ferguson, Zettor, John Deere they were all queuing up. End result the lads spent more time in the tractors than training & we all know how that ended up!!

Donegal Creameries gave each player a cow and a pound of butter. I don't see how this deal with Toyota and Dublin is any different.
