Good Man Larrrrrrrry

I'm sure the opinion of Larry carries a lot of weight in Dublin Gaa circles, what qualifies him to assess a Dublin panel I'd imagine he hasn't even seen half of our fringe players !?

Every team is beatable but all these expert opinions came and went last year & Sam is in Dublin, the media fled the sinking ship of Donegal like rats. This Dublin panel won the All Ireland while not realising their full potential, there is room for improvement.Kerry I think are the only one's operating at Dublin's level currently that may change as the season evolves.

Yes definitely beatable. Post Sam hangover and blooding a lot of players this year again. Not showing much form so far in OBC and shaky start in the league also. Still I'm sure if you asked Larry who he would least like Cork to meet at the business end of the championship it would probably be the sky blues. I wouldn't read much into it. Cork need to be worrying about this weekend first and in the championship Kerry before they can even dream of contending with the champs for Sam.

Dublin very beatable in fairness.

History says that the post Sam hangover is too big an obstacle to overcome and it probably will be again this year. They could go close though.

If Dublin bring their average 2012 form into the 2014 championship then someone like Kildare might win Leinster however as it stands one would have to fancy a Kerry/Cork v Dublin All Ireland final and the rest will just have to sit back and watch.

Yeah, but that's usually in the context of landing your first one. There doesn't seem to be half the amount of celebration laps around the city this time. Dublin are already going back to work and doing it in an extremely competitive environment where almost every player is fighting for their positions. Throw in the likes of Alan Brogan and Costello who weren't even involved on AI final day last year and there's no denying everyone else has it all to do.

I think a lot of Kildare and Meath fans would say they'd give themselves a reasonable chance against any other team in the country but in Leinster Dublin loom seriously large especially in Croke Park where we have to go again in the league in a few weeks. Could be another long evening in HQ.

Kildare and Meath are gonna knock a few teams of their perches this year and We could easily fall to one of them if we don't play to our capabilities in Leinster.
