21/12/2013 20:57:08 RebelCork ormondbannerman, Do you enjoy being as akward as possible on every thread? There is no way they were forced on the pitch . In case you didn't see it there was still plenty of Limerick supporters still in the stand when the cup was being raised. If it was impossible to get out how do you explain i and plenty of other supporters got out? Or was i forced on the pitch as well? Is discussing points being awkward? Many would have been forced onto pitch in that they had nowhere else to go and safer to go there then fight crowd to get out of the stadium via way they went in.
21/12/2013 21:14:23 AthCliath Think im gonna put in a compo claim against ORMO. I have to get glasses now after seeing his non stop copying and pastings . only copy and paste as this forum is so outdated you cant quote posts by clicking a button likes sites like link And stop trolling about comp...
28/12/2013 15:52:06 joncarter A survey from the Irish rugby Union Players Association has just determined that a whopping 50% of professional rugby players here have played through a concussion. So come on ormond, if you think that pitch invasions should be banned because a fan might get a bit claustrophobic, are you going to be consistent and call for rugby to be banned, or at least for the number of games a player plays to be dramatically reduced? No relevance of concussion to this thread. Pitch invasions are not related to sport and very different to concussion
I'm no fan of ormonde but there is a strong hint of pot calling kettle black here. U r awkward urself rebel cork as u showed on our tete a tete re Harty cup. U displayed a complete ignorance of schools and areas and when EVERY weak ( and they were all weak) point u made was refuted u still came back with more weak points and never gave an inch. Urself and ormonde are well met me thinks
The GAA are caught between a rock and a hard place here! On one level they appear to be totally indifferent in terms of trying to prevent pitch invasions in some stadia and grounds, whilst on the other hand they are totally against it and openly try to prevent them at other stadia. It appears Croke Park is treated differently to other GAA stadia and i'd be surprised if this treatment wasn't concerned about legal requirements relating to insurance.
For what its worth i'm against pitch invasions. I've been on pitches in the past but its not a good idea. All it takes is one slip, one over zealous patron whom you cannot legislate to protect, one mistake and a child may get crushed. Although an unlikely event one is creating a situation that allows that to happen and for that reason i think the GAA are correct to continue to take measures. Even though i do think they are not being consistent in their approach to it!
Ah come on that was one thread where i was arguing with you. As i said i've never seen him agree with the majority of people on a thread.Latest example being him bringing up stuff from weeks ago that he already answered. Give an example of me being purposely annoying or awkward.
