Salmann, I did say "apart from the obvious", where the obvious would include all the great forwards we have had. I suppose backs are generally more unsung, so that's why the less than obvious "heros" for me are mostly backs. That said, somebody like Mick Galvin was a less than obvious hero of the forwards, though not a great player. Jason Sherlock also, again not really a great but a hero for sure.
