superbluedub, what question?

I will answer any question you want me to. But I asked one on here at the very start of the thread. It has yet to be answered. If you or anyone else, is honest enough, and frankly man enough to answer it, nobody has been up to now, then I will answer your question without issue.

Come on themaster

Stop ths spin... you ain't fooling anyone pal

How come Mayo can spend way above almost everyone else?

How it that fair?

This is your own logic here pal...

If you cant answer a simple yes or no answer while using your own logic on this subject

Then it doesn't say much about your original stance....

Yes or No

Is it fair?

1522147 Ah sorry, 'pal', I asked for everyone elses finances before you asked anything, among the first posts on the thread. Now clearly you just showed you believe in people who ask first being answered first - so let's hear it, pal

Master
this thread isn't about anyoune elses finances, its about Mayos. You've boxed yourself into a corner with your continuosus harping on about Dublins unfair advantages, money, population, grounds etc. On the flipside of the coin we find Mayo or no different but you refuse to acknowledge it. Mayo probably have the same spending power per head capitia as the Dubs. If its unfair in Dublin can we not get a simple admission its the same in Mayo. Unfair! And its not, as moomoo(?) the clown suggests an anti Mayo thread. Its people looking for an admission from your good self that your full of it. So looking forward to your awnser, pal.

Brend I dont believe he has. Every point he makes is about mayo in terms of connacht, and specifically leitrim. How about mayo in terms of the rest of the country? Surely that is the correct mode for comparison, and not this false scale that he is forcing onto mayo and nobody else. It is akin to the multi-millionaire on your street telling people that you with a steady middle of the road job are really well off because you have more money than the poorest soul in the village... In other words, garbage. The reality is he is trying to paint mayo as the exception, when in fact mayo are smack bang in with everyone else, and it is dublin adn leitrim who are the exceptions at either end. Why would a county right in the middle be tasked with sorting out a county right at the bottom, when there is a county so far out in front that they could bring leitrim up to average levels 10 times over and still lead the way themselves? I didnt think you could be fooled so easily.

_________

I've just read over Jimbo's posts on this subject. There has been no mention of Leitrim on any of his posts.

In terms of the rest of the country I'd expect Mayo are up there with the top 2 or 3 in spending €650k on the senior team.

I think it is more akin to a multi-millionaire telling another multi-millionaire (or someone who spends like a multi-millionaire) they are really well off.

I expect that rather than being right in the middle Mayo is up there in the top three and certainly No 1 in Connacht. I just wish Cavan were able to spend this level on our senior team...

I don't think anyone (other than the Kildare secretary) is talking about equal distribution - it's the hypocrisy that annoys people.

Why are people concerned with what counties are spending on their teams? Mayo have a negative balance of €13m. That's -€13m in lay mans terms.

Nonsense, you are deliberately being obtuse here to ignore the logic behind it. There was no spending on the table when I made the points about dublin, even though I made several requests for them, and would happily compare them, as it is the basis of my argument. Now that there are figures for 1 county only, and people are clearly sensationalising conclusions about what is a middle of the road team, spending wise. The obvious natural progression is to get the figures of more counties to see if they are actually spending big in relative terms. The answer is they are not. Any reasonable and intelligent person can see that regardless of how their figures are displayed, they dont have the ability to be spending more than everyone else. But some people are not reasonable or intelligent, so we need the figures to display to them what is actually going on. Maybe my mistake was assuming they were?

You are a hypocrite. Simple as that. You applied totally different rules to the discussion on your county. Me I've no problem with the DCB's expenditure of late and I've no problem with Mayo's millions either.

You're inability to grasp the simplest of things continues to baffle ;)

Jimbo, you are asking me a question that isnt accurate. Is it fair for mayo to spend more? Since they arent the question is purely hypothetical.

Also, I asked the first question on this thread. You and the others wont answer it. So the things that you are posting about me, actually apply to yourself and the others who wont answer. I will answer any question, in my turn. Why wont you?

1522252 Deah oh dear...

+ 1.

I believe the IP address for the Master could be in Leinster House. Pure unadulterated waffle. Master, your shying away from a simple question is unbelievable. And you childishly crying "No, you first, you first" shows you up to be a complete child. You have no credibility. No matter how long or convoluted your posts are in future, posters here will remember you for being the lad who couldn't give a straight yes or no answer, because he didn't like the answer.

I'm going to leave it now because this is a waste of time.

TheMaster....

You never answer any questions.....

You just say your opinion and then claim you are right.

You are on the back foot now because Mayo published their finances and it states exactly what the Dublin posters thought. Mayo have an unfair advantage in the Connaught Championship.

Give it up....you lost your argument. The facts are out there pal.

________

Not just in Connacht...

They are way above most counties at a national level

They have far more of a financial advantage than just sitting pretty in Connacht

Again I ask themaster

Using your own logic on financial advantages

Is that fair?

Yes or No... that's all that's needed.

Very simple man.

This will be your last opportunity as I wont be asking again...

JayP, how much did galway spend on their senior gaa teams this year? Obviously you know because you know mayo spent the most in connaght.

Jimbo, the question was how much did otehr counties spend. Now, you cant be expected to know them all, so just provide dublin's spend, for comparison purposes.
