1519471 Lets ban Dublin in both codes for 5 years.
And see how great the GAA is without us!
They'd have nothing to talk about!
It did ok in football till 2011 and hurling is still going fine without them since the 30's//

You having a bad day pal???
The GAA as a commercial entity needs Dublin. You don't wanna admit that, that's fine. But would the Football Championship be a poorer place without Dublin....Yes.
So you can keep banging on about facilities this, money that, the reason Dublin are successful is they have better players than everyone else at the moment. Sure moomoo you'd know about this being a Kerry man. Kerry were successful as they had better players than everyone else.
At the moment they are in transition, but will be back.
The GAA need Dublin. Only a fool would say otherwise. Do you really wanna attend Croke Park with 5000 people in that vast stadium. Because without Dublin the championship would be lifeless. Even a poor Dublin were worth beating. Feather in the cap and all!!!

Indeed sed it was around long before 1948. But even then you had to go back twenty years to see Kildare win a all ire. I doubt very much that anyone is still alive who remember Kildare winning a all ire . That's the point here that the posterwas mmaking, Kildare have not won a all ire in almost 90 years while in the same time frame Meath have won 7 and contested countless finals, how many finals have Kildare even been in? Its not like you compete with hurling or even rugby or soccer to any great amount, a affluent county with large population should have at least been in more finals in living memory than 1. Concentrate on that rather than what sponsorship dubs have.

1519447 http://www.irishtimes.com/sport/blackrock-rfc-agrees-to-sell-land-to-cuala-to-ease-debt-1.1612361
And here we are being told Dublin clubs fundraise to get there facilities, must be doing a lot of fundrasing for this.
Also Cuala need to improve their social and playing facilities to meet the demand of their 2,000 members and 95 teams. Agin here we are being told Dublin doesnt have an advantage in terms of numbers...
Im sure the usual posters will have their usual ways to ignore this..
Your cherry picking , which is neither intelligent nor unusual for you , Cula are one of the biggest clubs in Dublin there are a few others Boden , Crokes , Vincents , Na Finna , however after them like in any county there are for want of a better word Ordinary clubs , Im a member of one such club , this year we had no minor hurling team , we had no under 21 team , due to lack of numbers As for fundraising Ive a direct debt monthly for club lotto , this year with many many many other joe soaps we bag packed , had a boxing night , quiz for juvenilles which required going around buisness and retail outlets asking for prizes etc etc etc For every big club in Dublin there at least 10 normal sized doing what clubs have done for over a hundred years Every county has its power houses and Dublins no different .
Cherry picking the same why the Dubs do to back their points up? But of course its different for ye isnt it?
So every county has clubs with 96 teams does it? Or 2000 plus members? Show us the stats for that, you seeing as it happens in every county that shouldn't be a problem for you. But then again back up points isnt something you Dubs do now is it? Like always this will be passed off with one of the 8 points made out at the start of the thread...
Cherry picking again at this stage why dont you just open your own fruit farm , you have enough mooooomanure , just ignore the fundraising point because it suits , just ignore the fact we struggle for numbers at minor or u 21 because it suits , those clubs mentioned a lot are 100 years old and had great numbers when we were good and bad , clubs struggle in Dublin fact ,I could go into details of last weeks recent AGM where my own clubs sizeable debts were outlined , but I wont waste my energy so I will leave to your cherry picking , signing off Damo

I will repeat it. The Gaa was founded in 1884. Wish some on here would stop ignoring that fact just to suit some silly argument they have. Its cringeworthy. Stop embarrassing yourselves.

moomoo do you ever get a chance to see our beautiful capital and see all the clubs, or are you afraid that might bring home the truth and you couldn't post all the things you read and see on the internet as gospel. Unfortunatly I think it suits you to stay behind your computer looking out the window and posting everything anti Dub

Surprise surprise ignore the actually question and passed it off as ''anti Dublin'' the fail safe .
The same way its suits you to be anti Kildare, Mayo, Kerry, Tyrone etc? Or the way its suits you to call everyone who disagrees with you anti Dublin and have no way to back up why they are? Remember when you said you didnt know what peoples issue with Dublin was? Or why they were anti Dublin? Yet you still use it to get out of answering questions.
The start of this thread disproved all the things you try to use to back your points up yet you ignore it because it suits you

And why not? You call everyone that disagrees with you anti Dublin, whats wrong with highlighting the fact you have issues with a number of counties?
Again tell me what my issue is? Iv asked you countless times and still no answer, wait actually you did give an answer it was you didnt know. If you dont know what it is you cant really keep using it now can you? So what is it? Seeing as you use it all the time tell me what mine and everyone else big issue is? It cant be hard for you to come up with something, because like i said you use it so much

The worst part is you actually believe this. The gaa would operate perfectly well without dublin. They mightnt have their cash cow to pay their own wages with, but it would run away without issue.

Master I'm sure it would run just fine without us. But IF you won the AI would it not be devalued by the fact you hadn't beaten the best. (us at the moment, or do you need reminding). In fact it wouldn't be an AI it would be a Rest of Ireland competition. More flawed logic. A69

Just pointing out that what you said itsnt true, but of course you wont admit that will you?
As for Dublin being a ''commercial entity'' or ''box office'' and others try to claim, why then did they have to beg Clare to play to save their ''Spring Series'' and why other counties have turned it down? If the GAA need them so much why have they not tried to push this? Im sure you'll ignore this like you do everything else that doesnt suit you
No only a fool would say the GAA need Dublin in the way you and others think, like i said Dublin have won 3 All Irelands in almost 35 years and its done the GAA no harm has it? Just like they havent won a hurling title since the 30's yet thats fine too is it not?

Cork won it in 2010 and had lost to Kerry earlier in the championship and they didn't seem too worried now did they? By your logic Dublins All Ireland this year and 2011 must be devalued seeing as they didnt beat the winners from the previous year, or is that different?

Ive no issues with any county, ye cant beat a bit of constructive criticism and ive argued and agreed with a lot of posters on issues regarding Dublin. Ive agreed we have an advantage in playing in Croker for leinster championship to name just 1 argument, its just moomoo you don't have the same level of interest in any other county bar Dublin and that includes your own. By the way serious question is your first name Maurice.
