No thats true we can't make them interested if there not but here is a few points I'd like you to give your opinion on:

1. Stephen O'Neill for Tyrone lost a bit of form and more crucially his hunger for County football so dropped himself off of the panel, therefore giving lads who had the hunger to step in. Now I know the guy you mentioned doesn't want to be in there but lads like that should make the hard decision and NOT go in and go through the montions like many others.

2. Personally I would rather have 15 lads prepared to do anything to represent their county than keep the most skillful lads that aren't going to dig in when the hard work has to be done. In my opinion 80% of winning a game comes down to which team works the hardest. 15% skill and 5% luck.

3. I don't think anyone would be hated either for dropping themselves off the panel as a result for not being hungry for county football. No-one in Tyrone hates Stephen O'Neill. Maybe a year away from it would do some players good.
