in the event of a draw or close result should yellow cards issued by the referee count for points against a team. tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4084 - 19/08/2008 11:11:55 78957 Link 0 |
sounds like a good idea but it would never work,, it would put to much presure on the refs... p o neill (Donegal) - Posts: 125 - 19/08/2008 11:29:07 78996 Link 0 |

It's hard not to laugh at the irony of someone complaining about the typing errors in match programmes in a thread and then putting up those last two comments. And for the record, it is almost impossible to imagine yellow/red cards being used as a scoring system Naomh Ultan Abú (Donegal) - Posts: 298 - 20/08/2008 19:30:48 80917 Link 0 |
Bonus points should be awarded for RED and YELLOW cards... Its Gaelic Football, not Basketball or Soccer (the game that was established in the UK...) Hard to beat a good slap in GAA McFly (Donegal) - Posts: 102 - 21/08/2008 09:43:41 81209 Link 0 |

DenverDonegal, you have failed to respond to me in rtelation to how busy a referee would be in Leifer. tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4084 - 22/08/2008 12:28:42 82422 Link 0 |
tomsmith,, what are the facts about lifford, you look at the cards issued to players this year and liffords arent even in the top ten... and as for crossborder the only person involved from across the border is the manager, hes from the same county as the donegal manager so there shouldnt be a problem there... dont be coming on here talking bull,if you want to talk fact then state them... p o neill (Donegal) - Posts: 125 - 22/08/2008 14:47:06 82606 Link 0 |

Molydagreat for clarification , on the 19/8/2008 P O Neill a poster that I understand to be from Leifer , indicated for the first time that he agreed with me on yellow cards to count as scores. tomsmith (Cavan) - Posts: 4084 - 25/08/2008 22:00:13 84549 Link 0 |
tom smith some clarification for you it is mollydagreat and as i said it before it leifear not leifer fact. yes p.oneill stated that it wuld put a ref under pressure u stated if he was reffing in leifear are they the only team that plays football around this county i think not. and regards ur topic on yellow cards i dont think it would work . mollydagreat (Donegal) - Posts: 11 - 27/08/2008 00:54:44 85894 Link 0 |
