No obsession or Royal lass turned me down RD. I call things as i see them and its not my fault if the truth hurts!

A lot of negativity towards the standard of the Meath county final. Of the two matches on Sunday, I thought it was the most entertaining. Sure Dr Crokes would probably crucify them both but then they do that to most teams they play anyway, hence when you watch them you do so just in admiration. But this is the sort of thing you could do on youtube or something else. If you are looking for a close competitive game, then the Meath one was much better. It was in doubt right up the end. The Kerry final was never in doubt. A good game involving Dr Crokes will most likely come when they meet Crossmaglen, St Brigids and the Dublin champions (sorry no offence to anybody else meant).

What you say Bennybunny is quite true, about Crokes not meeting serious opposition until All Ire semis. Sure isn't the same every year? And they still haven't managed an All Ire title in 25 years. Obviously Nemo were better than them for most of that period, but if they got lucky and avoided Nemo, there was no other opposition in Munster. Sure it's the same in the County championship surely? Maybe I'm wrong here, but that is how it appears from way up here.

I don't think any other side in Kerry are currently capable of winning county title while with Nemo no longer the force they were i don't think Dr Crokes have much competition in Munster.

Why do they insist on showing football first every week? Kilkenny hurling final always going to be the better match.

More people play football in this country so why should it not be shown first. Secondly, numerous players that played in this years all Ireland final are on show. A few weeks ago the Football Ireland champions county final was deferred coverage. Hurling folk need to understand football is Ireland's most popular sport and when the sport injects as much money as football into the GAA they can talk then.

That Mayo final was the worst game of football I've seen in a long time but Castlebar won't care well done to them and I suppose conditions were poor.
