i wouldn't say the international rules would have taken much out of Murphy or others. It was played a walking pace and i doubt if many even broke sweat. wishfulthinkin (Cavan) - Posts: 1732 - 21/10/2013 10:44:13 1503681 Link 0 |
fair play to Paul Hearty. Some medal haul at club level. 17 senior county medals, 10 ulsters and 6 All irelands. Unbelievable club. wishfulthinkin (Cavan) - Posts: 1732 - 21/10/2013 10:47:25 1503685 Link 0 |

i'd say each and every one of the Armagh players and management from the early 2000's will regret not winning more for a long time to come wishfulthinkin (Cavan) - Posts: 1732 - 21/10/2013 11:00:33 1503699 Link 0 |
Just on a side note we played Plunketts on Saturday in the B championship Alan Brogan was playing (god love the rest of Ireland next year) he was flying he hasn't lost any of his pace or movement he was outstanding. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 21/10/2013 11:10:11 1503704 Link 0 |
Cannot see anybody coming close to Dr Crokes in Munster this year. Nobody has been coming close to them in Kerry either when they have a full squad- they cruised yesterday's match and cruised against Killarney Legion in the club championship as well. The next big matches will be the All-Ireland semi-finals. Dr Crokes will be focused on winning their second championship (1991 was the first championship). The real test will start though in the semi-final of the All-Ireland (no disrespect to the other teams still left in Munster). bennybunny (Cork) - Posts: 3917 - 21/10/2013 11:49:08 1503731 Link 0 |

I was very impressed with Crokes although the game against Castlehaven will tell us more about them. TheWestIsAwake (UK) - Posts: 529 - 21/10/2013 13:09:24 1503799 Link 0 |

Glenswilly will be a team to watch in ulster this year. They won 2 years ago too, and have the man power to push on. Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3846 - 21/10/2013 15:03:58 1503890 Link 0 |
I disagree. Well done to Cross. I hope they win every year until 2096. Then Cross would have won 100 titles in 100 years. Dessie_Cross (Armagh) - Posts: 145 - 21/10/2013 15:07:48 1503891 Link 0 |

Wouldn't read too much into Meath county final. There was only one regular county player this year playing. Gillespie. There is negatives and positives not to have a senior club or clubs dominating county team. Negative is that you end up with bad enough county finals . Positive is you end up with a intermediate club producing likes of Flynn and O'Malley. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 21/10/2013 17:29:34 1504017 Link 0 |
10 years since a club from Meath have won Leinster senior title no surprised having watched that final yesterday. Gaa_lover (USA) - Posts: 3627 - 21/10/2013 18:53:59 1504065 Link 0 |
Gaalover. Your obsession with all things Meath is getting slightly worrying. Was it a royal lass who turned you down? Need to get that chip off your shoulder. Its not healthy. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 21/10/2013 21:40:34 1504182 Link 0 |
