County Finals

i wouldn't say the international rules would have taken much out of Murphy or others. It was played a walking pace and i doubt if many even broke sweat.

fair play to Paul Hearty. Some medal haul at club level. 17 senior county medals, 10 ulsters and 6 All irelands. Unbelievable club.

Unreal stuff...

Shame that Cross' domination didn't fully translate into County success

The team that Armagh had should have won more...

i'd say each and every one of the Armagh players and management from the early 2000's will regret not winning more for a long time to come

Just on a side note we played Plunketts on Saturday in the B championship Alan Brogan was playing (god love the rest of Ireland next year) he was flying he hasn't lost any of his pace or movement he was outstanding.

Cannot see anybody coming close to Dr Crokes in Munster this year. Nobody has been coming close to them in Kerry either when they have a full squad- they cruised yesterday's match and cruised against Killarney Legion in the club championship as well. The next big matches will be the All-Ireland semi-finals. Dr Crokes will be focused on winning their second championship (1991 was the first championship). The real test will start though in the semi-final of the All-Ireland (no disrespect to the other teams still left in Munster).

I was very impressed with Crokes although the game against Castlehaven will tell us more about them.

He's originally from Drimnagh and his family are involved with Good Counsel so he joined them.

Well done to Kilcoo on winning their third Down title in 5 years,
commiserations to Burren. It would be nice to see someone other
than Crossmaglen win the Armagh title-its getting boring now.

Glenswilly will be a team to watch in ulster this year. They won 2 years ago too, and have the man power to push on.

I disagree. Well done to Cross. I hope they win every year until 2096. Then Cross would have won 100 titles in 100 years.

Nothing against Cross Dessie they have been the best
club side in Ireland over the last 10 years but it
would be better if other teams got a look in for
the Armagh title.

Wouldn't read too much into Meath county final. There was only one regular county player this year playing. Gillespie. There is negatives and positives not to have a senior club or clubs dominating county team. Negative is that you end up with bad enough county finals . Positive is you end up with a intermediate club producing likes of Flynn and O'Malley.

10 years since a club from Meath have won Leinster senior title no surprised having watched that final yesterday.

Gaalover. Your obsession with all things Meath is getting slightly worrying. Was it a royal lass who turned you down? Need to get that chip off your shoulder. Its not healthy.
