Hard to believe that with all Dublins wonderful attacking football in 2013 that only 2 Forwards received All Stars though.
Also after Winning the League, Provincial and All Ireland titles that only 6 All Atars were received.
Whereas Clare received 8 Hurling All Stars for 1 title.

Given all the scores they conceded perhaps they were a tad fortunate to get three up to no. 7.

Well considering we more or less played with a Goalie and 4 defenders all season we were bound to concede scores.
Clucko was a cert. We were going to get the Full Back position and once Cian was nominated at Centre Back he was a shoe in also.
I think the All Stars are now the Best 15 all season regardless of position they are chosen in eg Kavanagh and Cian.
It is not the first year this has happened and won't be the last.

Full back is debatable. There are posters from your own county who have disagreed with O Sullivan getting centre back saying Brennan should have got it. It's been a great year for Dublin but the constant reminders of this from Dublin posters is getting a wee bit tiresome . One clown has started a "Correct me if I'm wrong" thread. Hard to beat it for sheer silliness.
