How can our contributors justify 5 Mayo players on this team, shocking, they played nothing in Connaught, slaughtered a beaten docket in Donegal, just about overcame Tyrone (who were stuffed by Donegal) and yet again failed to show up in an AI Final. 4 defenders got on this team when they only had to defend against 2 teams all championship, Tyrone and Dublin, just absolutely nothing stood out to justify this. An O'Connor gets on at corner forward for scoring all those tap-in goals in games where Mayo were annihilating teams. OK, he got injured against Tyrone but he did nothing in the final when you want real men to stand up. A complete injustice that the great Keith Higgins was omitted when 5 other Mayo players who wouldn't lace his boots were selected. Jesus I can't believe this went up with no response from Mayo Posters

I would've had Higgins or Barrett in ahead of Cunniffe definitely, McManus in ahead of CO'C and maybe Mackey in ahead of Flynn, it's a very good team though.

Look moomoo analyse counties on the topic at that given time and judge them solely on that and I don't have a problem ,if its against Dublin then fair enough, but you ask me to back something up and the simple truth is you take the opposite stance to any topic involving Dublin all the time and don't be saying prove it , because you know its true.
Why not try and debate topics involving Dublin and maybe the odd time say ,I can see where your coming from and maybe more mature discussion might arise.

People who accused me of being biased only have to look at my hoganstand team of the year and this years all star team ; I had every position the same as the all star team except I'd Sean Cavanagh midfield and Dermot Connolly at 12, so I only left out Aidan O Shea out of my team that got an all star.

If you actually look at the voting it wasnt a mayo majority voting them in. I wouldnt have had cunniffe, but cafferkey was the best fb in the country this year, and the reality is had both he and o'carroll played exactly the same, and mayo won by a point instead of dublin, he would have been the all-star fb. Therein lies the reality of the all-stars.
