liam, surely mannion's good games against poorer opposition render that unimportant also? Not really a fair selection process there. O'Connor was the top scorer while carrying a serious injury, that takes some doing in fairness to the lad. He is the most deserving 13 out there.

Agreed! Seems a poor enough selection for this position, all very good players mind but I'm not sure if any of them put in enough for an All-Star?

Especially when Brogan, Freeman, Dunne, McManus, O'Donoghue etc had better seasons and will all presumably be nominated at 15?

Mannion, but if i am honest, by default. Paul had a great Leinster Championship, and scored a vital goal V Kerry, but he was quiet enough in the semi apart from that, also quiet V Cork and went off early in the final.
COC's tally while impressive, was clocked against minimal opposition to render it almost not important.
Goulding is a farcical nomination! He wasnt even a starter for Cork sure!!

I dunno who to pick here so by default I will say Mannion

For years you and the other Dublin posters have been telling us the likes of Meath, Kildare, Mayo are ''minimal opposition'' so by that logic anything any Dublin player has done this year is not important. Or are you back tracking once again?

Are you for real? You've come out and admitted to hating Kildare. At the start of ever championship your making digs at them. If they beat one of the ''weaker'' counties you come on and say '' it was only such and such'' you do the same with Meath and your now doing it with Mayo. No, but id compare them to galway, donegal and roscommon though... I would compare london's form this year to that of westmeath however. Incidentally, mayo didnt actually play leitrim, but sure what does that matter?
